Ronny is a very special singer, a beautiful woman from France that was part of the New Romantic scene in London, back in 1982. This video shows her strong and very special stage appearance and voice that remembers the athmosphere of Germany in the twenties of the past century. The decadence of the Blue Cabaret, that's what this song is about. It's such a pity Ronny only released three singles and not even an album. She could have been very big in her career. In this video two world famous musicians are backing her on stage: Behind keyboard with blue jacket: HANS ZIMMER, now the most famous movie soundtrack composer of the world, who made soundtracks for over 100 famous movies and won two oscars. Hans is living in Hollywood and you'll read his name on the DVD of almost every important movie. The other man, behind drums and also keyboard is WARREN CANN of the famous band Ultravox - remember their world hit Vienna..... Ronny also sang together with singer ZAINE GRIFF in his beautiful song THIS STRANGE OBSESSION. They share the vocals and change singing parts of it in the song, which gives a beautiful athmosphere. This Strange Obsession is released on Yukihiro Takahashi's album WHAT ME WORRY. Now in 2010 Hans is still around, Ultravox is back together and touring and Zaine is (at last) recording his third album in his homeland New Zealand and might be doing a concert in Europe when his album is finished, maybe at the end of this year.
