I am a fruit and veggie addict!--XoXo--BLT :P Kimberly Synder's Website www.thebeautydetoxsolution.com GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE (All organic ingredients, I modified her recipe to suit my taste buds!) -1 1 cups of water -1 head of Romaine lettuce -1/2 bunch of spinach, or 1/2 container of pre-washed baby spinach -4 stalks of celery -1 apple -1 pear -1/2 lemon -1/3 of a pineapple (optional) -1 banana (frozen or fresh) I like to blend it until it a smooth. With a Vitamix, this is a lot easier, but you can make it in a traditional blender. It will just take longer to blend the romaine/etc and might get a bit warm, so you will have to stick in the fridge after making it! Yum! How to make Lentil Walnut Veggie Burgers Video. Veggie Burgers are a nutritional alternative to beef burgers. Many people don't think of making their own veggie burgers but they are really easy to make at home. Store bought veggie burgers are nutritional but often very high in sodium and preservatives. You can substitute the eggs in this recipe with "flax eggs" which are a mix of 6 tbsp ground flax to 2 tbsp boiling water. The milk in this recipe can be substituted with either soya milk or rice milk. This makes the recipe completely vegan! Lentils are high in fiber which makes them a good protector against bowel cancer. I recommend organic, low sodium lentils if you are buying canned. Veggie Tales - The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything Trailer

When Jonah: A VeggieTales movie was released in theaters in 2002, it was able to accrue an amazing $6.2 million in its opening weekend and $25.5 million at the domestic box office. Despite the fact that people believed these films would find their primary success on video, VeggieTales was able to earn back its $15 million budget even before those ancillary profits after theatrical release were added in. And so it is that we'll be seeing the VeggieTales return in a new animated family film. The movie is based on a song that appears on the show, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. In that song, the Veggies talk about - well, how they basically do nothing. This is a group who stays home and hangs out, never traveling outside the comforts of their insular world. How, you ask, is it possible for pirates to stay at home all the time? That's a valid question, for sure, but is certainly good news for those who have piratical ambitions but also have unfortunate issues with seasickness. Buccaneering can certainly reach new heights, and these Veggies are going to show us how.

Vegetable Crumble 1 - Courgette (Zucchini), Sliced 1 - White Onion, Diced 3 - Garlic Cloves Crushed 1 can of diced tomatoes 6 - Tablespoons of Plain Flour 3 - Tablespoons of Butter or Margarine 1 - Teaspoon of Paprika 1 - Teaspoon of Sesame Seeds (optional) Salt & Pepper Fry the Onion and Garlic in a saucepan until golden and soft, then add the sliced Zucchini for a few minutes. Pour over the tin of chopped tomato's and season with salt a pepper before giving a good stir. If you want to add Chili you can but it's not really needed. Leave to simmer for around 20-25 minutes depending on the power of your stove. While the Veg are simmering, rub together the Butter and Flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs, this may take a few minutes. Add the Paprika, a touch of Pepper, and the Sesame Seeds (if using), before stirring it all together. Once the Zucchinis are soft, pour the veg mixture into either Ramekins or a Casserole Dish and cover with the Crumble Topping to give an even cover. Place the dish(es) into a preheated oven at 350 for roughly 30-40 minutes, or until the top are golden brown. Serve hot with a light salad on the side.
