Βιομηχανικη Αυτοκτονια-Love not gore Ξεκίνησαν στην Αθήνα το 1988 με το όνομα "Ηχορύπανση". Τα μέλη της μπάντας ήταν Σάκης Βαβάτσης φωνή , Παντελής φωνή, Γιώργος Μάμαλης κιθάρα, Γιάννης μπάσο και Σπύρος 'Captain Death' Παπαναστασάτος (ex "Vomit") τύμπανα. Το '88 κυκλοφορούν μια demo κασέτα, με τίτλο "Practic Holocaust" με δεκατέσσερα κομμάτια. 'Ενα από αυτά, το "Stranger Among Friends" μπήκε την ίδια χρονιά στη μεξικάνικη συλλογή "Nobody Listens Anymore!" της "PPR Records", όπου συμμετείχαν άλλες εννιά grindcore μπάντες από όλο τον κόσμο. Το πρώτο τους live έγινε στις 14 Γενάρη του '89, σε ένα studio μπροστά σε είκοσι άτομα. Ηχογράφησαν δέκα κομμάτια τους στο "Mini Farm Studios" και τον Ιανουάριο του '89 τα κυκλοφορούν με τους συμπολίτες τους "Rotting Christ", από τη γερμανική "TNT Records", ένα split ep, χρησιμοποιώντας το μεταφρασμένο όνομά τους "Sound Pollution". Ο τίτλος του μπλε εφτάιντσου ήταν "The Other Side Of Life". Την ίδια χρονιά κυκλοφορούν με diy μια split κασέτα με τους αυστραλογερμανούς "7 Minutes Of Nausea". Λίγο μετά αλλάζουν το όνομά τους σε "Βιομηχανική Αυτοκτονία" και στα αγγλικά "Industrial Suicide". Κυκλοφόρησαν δύο demo κασέτες, μία το '89 με έξι κομμάτια και μία το '90 με πέντε κομμάτια και πρόλαβαν να δώσουν κάποια live. Συμμετείχαν το '90 στις κασετοσυλλογές "Οδόφραγμα Θορύβου" από τη "Boredom Tapes" και την Ολλανδική "Bonds Of Friendship". Μετά από κάποιες αλλαγές στη σύνθεσή τους, ήρθαν οι Θανάσης στα τύμπανα και Nick Flesh στο μπάσο <b>...</b>
