Was interested to see how faithful the movie was to the real event. Watchmen was in a slow motion so I had to time stretch it to sync with the Zapruder film. I used two sync points as reference: the third gun shot (one that kills Kennedy) and the limo reaching the edge of the shadow cast by the tunnel. So I made this using GTA IV's video editor. It's pretty great for cinematic camera angles and stuff. But the fact you can only render your footage over-compressed with crappy Rockstar watermarks is kinda shit. To get around this, I used Fraps to capture the playback (when viewing the current project hit the big play button then while it loads start Fraps recording) and edited it in Sony Vegas so I could render it how I wanted without watermarks. It's a bitch to create something with a cohesive storyline because the clip capture function makes no damn sense. Sometimes it'll capture something four seconds long and other times it'll capture something thirty seconds long. Hard to figure out what you've managed to capture and what you haven't. Continuity errors abound.
