The last puzzle in the second area of the Seraphic Gate will probably live on in infamy as being utterly ridiculous. In order to reach one of the chests, you need to navigate your way through this area and swap places with an enemy. Sounds easy, until you realize you only have about 40 seconds to get there before the enemy walks off the ledge that has the chest. Once it walks off the ledge you won't ever be able to get that chest. Wikipedia: "James Whitney (December 27, 1921 -- April 8, 1982), younger brother of John, was a filmmaker regarded as one of the great masters of abstract cinema. Several of his films are classics in the genre of visual music. James Whitney was born December 27, 1921, in Pasadena, California, and lived all his life in the Los Angeles area. He studied painting, and traveled in England before the outbreak of World War II. In 1940, he returned to Pasadena. Career - Later Works Between 1950 and 1955, James laboured to construct a truly astounding masterpiece, Yantra. The film was produced entirely by hand. By punching grid patterns in 5" by 7" cards with a pin, James was able to paint through these pinholes onto other 5" x 7" cards, to create images of rich complexity and give the finished work a very dynamic and flowing motion, but the film was not completed yet. It was first released as a silent film. A very short, manipulated fragment from an early version of Yantra was shown at one of the historic Vortex Concerts in San Francisco's Morrison planetarium in early 1959. Soon after Vortex, the film acquired its soundtrack, when Jordan Belson synchronized it to an excerpt from Henk Badings' "Cain and Abel". Maybe, he did 666 damage at 15:24 Final Battle time, unfortunately due to the story / plot, you cannot use Flonne in this battle. So if Flonne has been carrying your party this whole time, go level up Laharl or other characters and load them up with some equipment. The Seraph acknowledges Flonne and punishes Vulcanus! However now as Laharl and friends, you must fight the Seraph himself, level 90. He has a Testament, Celestial Armor, and some other nice equipment, so bring a thief with HIGH hit hands to steal the armor. Upon stealing the armor you can equip right away to a character of your choice. This is the final episode and final boss battle in the main portion of the game. Now is not the time to be holding back. A fairly leveled up Thief with hands will give you an edge in battle allowing you to steal the Seraph's Armor and weapon making him a little easier to deal with. I got the normal ending because I accidentally killed a few allies. The good ending is achieved when you don't kill any allies or do anything to achieve any other endings. In order to go there, you have to finish the game and find it for yourself. but be careful, All monsters in there are overpowered. The third area is where the puzzles start getting more elaborate, and this one in particular requires the player to be good at aiming, timing, and photon-jumping. The hardest part is near the end where you must get the floating enemy as high up as possible, because the game will not allow you to do three photon-jumps in a row.
