Jan Savitt 720 In The Books.wmv
This tune was the most requested by the band's followers. It was originally instrumental only and received it's title from it's place in the band's book of arrangements when no was able to come up with a better name for it. Hence 720 was the number assigned to it. The vocalist's name is George Tunnell. He performed under the name of Bon Bon. He was a black man singing with a white band and, for my money, was the best thing this organization had going. His voice and vocal performances were superb. I posted this for the audio only so please pardon the lack of graphics. I hope you enjoy.

Katherine Savitt is the Chief Executive Officer and a director of Lockerz, LLC, a website offering social network, entertainment and commerce for 13-30 year olds. Formed in 2009 with 50 members, the invitation-only site has rapidly grown to 14 million members in 195 countries. Before founding Lockerz, Savitt was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. from March 2006 to January 2009, where she led both the global marketing efforts of the company's four brands as well as the digital and ecommerce businesses for the Corporation. Prior to joining American Eagle Outfitters, Kathy served as Vice President of Strategic Communications, Content and Entertainment Initiatives of Amazon.com from 2002 to February 2006, and also served on Jeff Bezos' S-team (senior management committee). From 1993 to 2002, Kathy served as President and co-Founder of MWW/Savitt, an integrated marketing communications and public relations firm. Kathy has extensive senior leadership experience with retail, e-commerce, content and social media businesses and, in addition to being a Lockerz director, currently is a member of the Board of Directors of Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. and Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Oh man what a week with comedians Thea Vidale and Tommy Savitt. Probably one of the more memorable experiences ever. Thea I've known for years and first worked with her in Colorado Springs when still doing the road full time. She was very gracious and still is. She speaks her mind and it's always un-filtered. Some of Theas specials include Def Comedy Jam, Comedy from the Danger Zone, A Pair of Jokers, Comedys Dirtiest Dozen and The Howard Stern Show. Thea is perhaps best remembered though for being the 1st African American woman to have her own primetime ABC series, Thea, for which she was nominated for a People's Choice Award for Favorite Female in a New Series. Television has been Theas best exposure reaching millions of people from her appearances on such programs such as Ellen, The Wayans Bros., The Drew Carey Show, My Wife and Kids, Ugly Betty, Rodney Dangerfields HBO Special, Where's Rodney? and starred in Master Ps comedy movie Repos. Making his first trip here to Lake Tahoe Brooklyn comedian Tommy Savitt is one of the bright stars to keep an eye out for. I met him a few years back at The Boston Comedy Festival and won the whole thing. And this wasn't a fluke either because the following year Tommy was the winner of the Seattle-International Comedy Competition. He too has done numerous shows overseas performing for our men and women in uniform. He has a lot going on right now and can't wait to have him back on my show. Jim Savitt has written and recorded many original instrumental compositions and released his first full length 12 song CD entitled "Hear & Now" in 2001. This CD had been played around the globe in 8 countries and Jim won the SONY Jazz sponsored international "Search For A New Jazz Artist" 2004 contest. New York City resident, Savitt opened for Grammy nominee Boney James and gigs regularly in the New York metropolitan area. He is also the chief engineer of SaviTech Studio, a state of the art hard-disk based recording and production facility in midtown Manhattan.
