Avoir une araignée au plafond, être un peu fêlé, tout cela c'est la poésie humaine de la fragilité, la faille par laquelle la lumière peut entrer...Ici l'introduction à ma thèse "Heureux les fêlés - car ils laisseront passer la lumière"(référence à Michel Audiard) présentée à L'Esag Penninghen(école supérieure d'arts graphiques) en juin 2009 . La musique a été composée et enregistrée en un après midi par mon petit frère Quentin Dannaud . Quand on les prend au pied de la lettre, les expressions pour parler de folie douce, de mise en défaut de la rationalité, sont poétiques malgré elles....

Le morceau "The Child", sample une chanson de Billie Holiday (God Bless The Child), et sera un petit succès notamment grâce à son clip réalisé par H5. C'est aussi d'après l'intéressé celui qui "synthétise le son Gopher. "Toutes mes influences y sont regroupées : le Charley en l'air typique de la house, la basse funky, Billie Holyday pour le côté jazz et l'écriture pop de la chanson." H5 est un studio de graphisme français fondé en 1994 par Ludovic Houplain et Antoine Bardou-Jacquet (diplômés de l'Esag - Penninghen). Il travaille essentiellement dans les domaines de la musique (visuels pour Air, Super Discount, Étienne de Crécy, Le tone, Alex Gopher, Darkel, Cosmo Vitelli, Demon...) de la culture (visuels pour la Réunion des musées nationaux, la Colline des musées, les Galeries nationales du Grand Palais, le Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris...) et du luxe (Dior, Cartier, Hugo Boss, Hermès, Lancôme...). Depuis 1999, H5 est aussi un collectif de réalisateurs. Ludovic Houplain réalise les premiers clips en animation avec Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, (typographie animée pour Alex Gopher, dessin animé pour Zebda, animations numériques pour Super Furry Animals et Playgroup) et Hervé de Crécy.
