This is one of Georgian folk songs called "Orovela" and it was performed during some field work. The ensemble: Kelaptari, the soloist: Ana Bajiashvili Georgian national music is very old and one of the uniques in the world. Georgian folk music possesses what is the oldest tradition of polyphonic music in the world, predating the introduction of Christianity. Tuning Scales used in traditional Georgian music have, like most European scales, octaves divided into seven tones (eight including the octave), but the spacing of the tones is different. The complains are about: 1 It's not traditional, but modern versions for the American market 2 The pictures of young woman with red hair are stereotyping and insulting the Irish people 3 Not all the pictures are from Ireland Everyone with an open eye must see that in no way my intensions is to insult anyone. But in order to make things right I change the name in Celtic music. In Northern Europe red hair is more common than in other parts (2-6 %) Scotland is billing the top and in second place Ireland with 10 %. So it's not stereotyping that I used (only) 3 pictures of young woman with red hair. My youngest daughter is blessed with beautiful red hair. I can in no way see this as a negative, insulting stereotype. You may like or doesn't like this clip. Insulting comments (mostly to other people who made comments ) will be removed.
