Kate Middleton Gives Her First Public Speech

The beautiful Kate Middleton proves she's as elegant as ever as gave her first speech as the Duchess of Cambridge. She spoke at the opening of The Treehouse, a hospice run by East Anglia's Children's Hospices. Her short speech was sweet and to the point and everyone looked thrilled by her appearance. Kate seemed pretty nervous speaking in front of 600 people, but that is expected and she checked her note-cards pretty often. But her speech was very heartwarming and genuine. Kate wrote the speech herself and wore a bright blue belted Reiss dress that British fashion watchers were quick to note was the same one her mother, Carole Middleton, wore to the Royal Ascot horsing event nearly two years ago. Kate told the crowd quote: "I feel hugely honored to be here to see this wonderful center, I am only sorry that William can't be here today, he would love it here." This got a huge laugh! Not sure why, but who understands British humor anyway!
