With their greatest hits from 1993 & 1994: Slave to the music - Is it love - Take me away - Leave them alone Twenty 4 Seven is a Eurodance and Hip House act, created by Dutch producer Ruud Van Rijen in 1989. Other members of the group were rapper Stacey Paton (Stay-C), and female vocalist Nance Coolen. The combination of male rap and female choruses was the main recipe for their success. The project remained dormant until 1993, when Stay-C (born Stacey Paton) joined the group. He played the role of the rapper as well as an additional role of the co-producer. In the late summer of 1993, Slave to the Music, was launched. It charted well in most European countries, being the first dance record to go platinum in the newly independent Czech Republic. The following singles, Is It Love and Take Me Away, peaked at #5 in Israel. By now, the group were famous worldwide, with the exception of America and the UK. They even played live in South Africa. The single Leave Me Alone included a Greatest Hits Megamix. "Slave To The Music" and "Is It Love" were their only hits in Australia, where both songs reached the Top 5 on the Australian music charts. Although they were contracted until 1996, the group remained largely silent throughout the next two years. Nance then declared that the group had practically split due to personal issues. In 2000, plans to release a new album in the classical formula, with Stay-C and Nance, were rumoured in the press, but never eventuated. Enjoy!

Their first hit "The Power", a combination of house and hip hop elements, contained a number of unauthorised samples, taking the drum loop from "King of the Beats" by Mantronix, the rap from "Let the Words Flow" by Chill Rob G and the classic line "I've got the power" from "Love's Gonna Get You" by Jocelyn Brown. The group formed in 2000 and is composed of Evi Goffin as the vocalist, (before 2008) and Peter Luts and Dave McCullen as the producers. The group has sold more than 5 million copies of their albums Some Things and Far Away, and the singles from those albums. Lasgo's first appearance was on the Holiday Party, one of the biggest out parties in Belgium. The Music Factory recorded the show to produce a video clip. In October, Lasgo also won the best national single award on the Belgian TMF Awards 2001. At the same time, it went gold in the charts with 25000 copies sold. On November 2, 2001, Lasgo released their second single "Alone" in Belgium. This single was taken from Lasgo's first full album called Some Things, which was released on November 19, 2001. The music video for "Alone" was shot in the night of November 25-November 26 in a large office in Berlin, Germany. Alone peaked at #3 in the official Belgian CD charts. The act has gone through a number of line-up changes over the years; they achieved the most success whilst fronted by singer Tania Evans and rapper Jay Supreme. Their 1993 single "Mr. Vain" was a number 1 hit in at least nine European countries, and the act is thought to have sold more than 10 million records worldwide. Torsten Fenslau had been working as a deejay at the Frankfurt nightclub Dorian Gray, when he decided to form Culture Beat. His first single, the ambient house track "Der Erdbeermund", with a spoken vocal in German by Jo van Nelsen, peaked at number 11 in the German singles chart. Versions in English and French were also released (titled "Cherry Lips" and "Les lèvres cerises", respectively). An instrumental version was also a club hit in the United Kingdom, where it reached number 55.
