In a dramatic new projection show filled with special effects and magic, Cinderella Castle will transform into a shimmering canvas for images of Walt Disney World guests and the memories they made that day at Magic Kingdom. In the nighttime spectacle, photos of guests captured that very day in the park will be projected larger-than-life among the spires and turrets of Cinderella Castle. In similar fashion, guest images will be projected onto "it's a small world" on select nights at Disneyland Park in California, beginning Jan. 27. The ten-minute experience -- called "The Magic, The Memories, and You!" -- will dazzle park guests on both coasts in ways never before experienced, themed to beloved Disney stories and with playful animated sequences that seem to defy the architecture of the buildings. The spectacle is scheduled most nights with up to two shows per night depending on theme park operating hours and other special ticketed events. As many as 500 images shot that day will project onto the castle each night the show is presented, producers estimate. Disney PhotoPass photographers will capture guests creating new memories as they "smile for the castle." On Monday 28th November Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows phone nokia.ly brought deadmau5 and the world's most advanced 4D technology together and created an amazing free light show at Millbank Tower, London. Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 3D images onto the structure. The HP ePrint Tron Legacy Experience ran from 26.11.10 to 02.12.10 at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London. Visitors experienced a spectacular light show and a reconstruction of Flynn's Arcade. The iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall was the backdrop for an ambitious and visually arresting architectural mapping display which saw the exterior walls of the building become animated and appear to be alive. Flynn's Arcade made the portal to travel from the real world to the digital. Visitors experienced the landscape that the film's main protagonist; Kevin Flynn created with videogames, the famous Lightcycle vehicle from the film, material from the Tron Legacy alongside new HP ePrint experience. TRON: LEGACY opens in UK cinemas on December 17.

Actor Jason Schwartzman drops his friend off at LACMA and keeps walking along Wilshire because he doesn't like museums. He is surprised by John Baldessari's light projected head. Baldessari's head follows him and explains ones taste for art matures likes one taste for cheese. Jason escapes Baldessari and runs into Jeff Garland at Rays and Stark bar. Jason tries to convince Jeff that Baldessari's head is following him to which Jeff says I don't see him but don't complain as he's a master artist. So Jason walks along while Baldessari educates him on art, cubism, impressionists, Broadway Boogie Woogie and tells Schwartzman not to be intimidated of museums because art is fun. In 1982 she publicised her statements and aphorisms (truisms) on one of Times Squares gigantic LED billboards, in 2008 she created a site-specific light projection for the newly renovated facade of the Solomon R. Guggenheim museum in New York. Fondation Beyeler in Riehen near Basel, Switzerland, is now presenting Jenny Holzers first large sale exhibition in a Swiss museum. The focus is on recent works, some of which have never before been shown in Europe. On display are Jenny Holzers famous LED installations, combining poetic, socio-critical, and political texts and visual effects, as welll as paintings and sculptures. The exhibition is supplemented by a selection of works the artist has chosen from the Beyeler Collection (Giacometti, Picasso, Malevich, Bacon). The presentation of Jenny Holzers work is not confined to the museum space. The show extends outdoors to the public space. Jenny Holzer conceived light projections on key buildings and sites in Basel and Zürich. These will only be on view on special nights. At night projections from moving cars are shone on the buildings downtown. Each car projects a video of a wild animal. The animal's movements are programmed to correspond to the speed of the car: as the car moves, the animal runs along it speeding up and slowing down with the car, as the car stops, the animal stops also. The framerate of the movie corresponds to the speed of the wheel rotation, picked up by a sensor. If the presence of a moving object (such as another car or pedestrian) is detected with proximity sensors, its animal "avatar" appears in the projection. For the ZeroOne ISEA2006 I will be using one vehicle with a projection of a tiger (additional animals will appear in the projection as reflections of passing vehicles and pedestrians). Projection disappears and flickers as it is supported by the architecture. The city itself is an active partner in creating this alter ego. We are elevated from the everyday reality through this element of fantasy into a world with more dimensions, possibilities and perhaps beauty.

Our job was to create an installation that would go beyond merely projection on buildings and allow viewers to become performers, by taking their body movements and amplifying them 5 stories tall. We used 3 different types of interaction - body interaction on the two stages, hand interaction above a light table, and phone interaction with the tracking of waving phones. There were 6 scenes, cycled every hour for the public.
