This song has become one of my favorites by my buddy Luke La Madrid. I was just going to sing it without the few 'backup singers', but I decided to just improv some harmonies in the background to add something interesting. Of course, all one take, I don't like rehearsing, so if there are any clashes in harmony, oh well. =) Hope the lyrics and the message come through.

So... I'm here in El Salvador, and this is one of my favorite songs they've been singing here =) I messed up on a couple of the words, but not that bad i guess =) hehe. So, like any other small school, I know students at Thunderbird Academy want to do everything. I whole-heartedly believe that students need to stay in choir and band. Music is something that stays with us for the rest of our lives - and will stay with us in the life to come! In my bias opinion, it is a medium where we can honor and glorify God with every part of our soul. Music can affect and balance us mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It provides a sense of balance, and allows a positive way for humans to express ourselves. I believe it would be a mistake for students to miss out on having a full musical experience in their high school lives.
