RGM-84 Harpoon Anti-Ship Missiles
The Harpoon is an all-weather, over-the-horizon, anti-ship missile system, developed and manufactured by the McDonnell Douglas Corporation of the United States of America, with manufacturing now taken over by Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, the new owner of its factory in Missouri. In 2004, Boeing delivered the 7000th Harpoon unit since the weapon's introduction in 1977. The missile system has also been further developed into a land-strike weapon, the Standoff Land Attack Missile (SLAM). The regular Harpoon uses active radar homing, and a low-level, sea-skimming cruise trajectory to improve survivability and lethality. The missile's launch platforms include: * Fixed-wing aircraft (the AGM-84, made without the solid-fueled booster) * Surface ships (the RGM-84, fitted with a solid-fueled rocket booster that detaches when expended, to allow the missile's main turbojet to maintain flight) * Submarines (the UGM-84, fitted with a solid-rocket launch booster and encapsulated in a container to enable submerged launch through a torpedo tube); Coastal defense batteries, from which it would be fired with a solid-fueled booster. In 1986, the United States Navy sank at least two Libyan patrol boats in the Gulf of Sidra. Two Harpoon missiles were launched from the USS Yorktown with no confirmed results and several others from A-6 Intruder aircraft that were said to have hit their targets. ***If you enjoyed this video, please check out my other zombie survival map made in TImesplitters Future Perfect*** www.youtube.com This is a scenario made in the game Timesplitters Future Perfect for the ps2. I used the game's mapmaker program to make this. Zombies attack constantly and the number of them increase as time progresses. The purpose is to try to stay alive as long as possible. The tiles that the player can stay on are setup in a cross or plus shape. With one center tile where the weapon spawns and four tiles around it. I put in a lot of doorways because they make it harder to avoid the zombies. The tiles outside these 4 are simply for spawning enemies. Having the gun in the middle makes it challenging because if you dont manage your ammo good you will find yourself trapped away from the ammo room with no weapon and will have to try grabbing it with your magnetic hand powers lol. Enemy spawn sounds are turned off to make enemies suprise you more. Enemies spawn inside the set of four rooms, they spawn above the rooms and drop down randomly, and spawn outside the area the player is allowed to go and come in through 1 of 4 doors. This zombie survival scenario uses the same map layout as my "Zombie Survival - Shotgun" story map. However it is a much different experience. The only weapon to use this time is a harpoon gun. It shoots very fast, but is pretty weak. The ammo is slow to respawn, so the only way you can keep from running out all the time is if you aim <b>...</b>
