Gustav Vasa in the Stockholm Bloodbath

A somewhat historically inaccurate and short stop-motion animation depicting Gustav Vasa, as said, in the Stockholm Bloodbath of 1520. I made this in 2010 as a school project. Upon rummaging about in Wikipedia I came across some old watercolour paintings of Gustav, which were as if they were made for an animation. These images gave me inspiration for a whole historical saga depicting the story of Gustav the first. However, due to lack of time I scrapped the enormous project and settled for telling just the story of young Gustav during the dramatic events of the Bloodbath. There's the link to the paintings: en.wikipedia.org Shooting of the animation took me about eight hours. The music and sound effects were made using Logic Pro 8, drums with Superior Drummer 2.0. Animation stills were shot using Framethief, and the project was compiled and edited using iMovie HD.
