Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California (HD)
The Getty Center, in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California, is one of two locations of the J. Paul Getty Museum. The museum's permanent collection includes "pre-20th-century European paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, sculpture, and decorative arts; and 19th- and 20th-century American and European photographs". Among the works on display is the painting Irises by Vincent van Gogh. The Center, which opened on December 16, 1997, is also well known for its architecture, gardens, and views (overlooking Los Angeles). Besides the Museum, the Center's buildings house the Getty Research Institute, the Getty Conservation Institute, the Getty Foundation, and the administrative offices of the J. Paul Getty Trust, which owns and operates the Center.

Pride of Argentina soars with winning spirit Mens Freestyle Skiing: Clyde Getty (Argentina) Born in 1962 in the United States of America. Age 47 Clyde Getty was the oldest ski contender. His performance was not a difficult one but he missed his landing, hit his face hard on the snow and his skis came off from both legs. He finished last. Still, Clyde waved to the crowd that cheered for him, swung his helmet around and even blew a kiss. Clyde was born in 1962 to Argentinian parents in the United States. After becoming a member of the US Freestyle Skiing Team in the 1990s, he changed his citizenship to Argentina and has since qualified in 2 Olympic Games. He usually spends his time living in Boulder, Colorado, with his loving wife, 3 dogs, 3 parakeets surrounded by nature. He has a great sense of humor, but also an aggressive obsession towards his sport, The word retirement does not exist in my dictionary, and a strong love for his country, The Argentinian made in USA.

Short and Sweet has teamed up with Getty Images to launch a film challenge with a twist. Getty Images approached producer Basil Stephens and Short and Sweet founder Julia Stephenson with the idea of setting up a film competition which would make use of images in Getty's Hulton Archive. Stephenson drew from her in-depth knowledge of the short film arena to suggest a selection of talented filmmakers. After picking out ten up-and-coming directors, she gave them the opportunity to pitch. Four of the filmmakers made it on to the shortlist and got the chance to realise their ideas. They were given three months to create their films. The challenges aim was to highlight the breadth and depth of content available at the Hulton Archive, which offers a unique resource to filmmakers and creatives alike. But rather than set a rigid brief, the challenge offered key words and phrases as prompters to guide the filmmakers creativity. Examples of these prompters included discover our past, images that shape our future, still & moving imagery, ordinary people, ordinary things and extraordinary people, extraordinary things.

This is a bonus track off the album "Awaken the Dawn" by Keith and Kristyn Getty. I had already posted another video for this song which was from a live performance that only had piano accompaniment. That was nice, but this arrangement has much richer accompaniment including fiddle and dobro, my favorite instruments. Keith and Kristyn are originally from Ireland and are currently living in Ohio. What wonderful talent they have!
