The newly re-elected MP, who pulled off a shock victory in the Bradford West by-election, found himself mentioned by David Cameron as he clashes with Labour leader Ed Miliband. Mr Cameron sought to use Mr Galloway's win last month, which was a major blow to the Labour Party, as a way to deflect from a barrage of questions about controversial Budget measures. The Prime Minister said: "You talk about my last month, I accept, a tough month. Let's have a look at your last month: you lost the Bradford by-election... I have to say you have given one person a job opportunity - George Galloway." Cue the vicious stare from Mr Galloway up on the backbenches, who glowered fiercely, holding the scowl in a moment that succeeded in grabbing him headlines. And there was still a bit more time in the spotlight for the former Labour-turned-Respect MP. Called to ask the final question of the half-hour session, the politician took the chance to bring up the Afghan conflict and withdrawal of British troops. 03/30/2012 Respect Party candidate George Galloway has taken the Bradford West parliamentary seat from Labour, winning the by-election by 10100 votes. Mr Galloway, expelled by Labour in 2003, said it was the "most sensational victory" in by-election history. He received 18341 votes which was a 56% share of the ballot. Former Labour MP George Galloway says he won the Bradford West by-election because he stands for those who are "alienated" by modern politics. He told the BBC's Carole Walker mainstream politics was "a kind of virtual politics for a minority of the electorate."
