Here's the 4th and last of the drum perspective songs I shot with FLIP cams in December of 2008 with NIN. I forgot that I had this one and never posted it. This was the opening of the "Lights In The Sky Tour" for pretty much all of '08. It goes into "Letting You" which I know I already previously posted but I let it run right into it on the video anyway. Nothing fancy but some good old fashioned "beating the hell out of the drums." 1000000 is one of my favorite NIN songs (nice and angry) and was exciting to open the show with every night.

My husband and I got the chance to meet the 2011 world series MVP on March 11th, 2012 after the Cardinals spring training game we were attending was postponed due to rain. I put this together just for fun. Thanks to David for making our trip one of the most memorable yet! Eighteen members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Louis joined Freese for the inaugural launch-ride on the park's newest twist to one of its most popular thrill rides. Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast sends riders backwards through a 190-foot tunnel, into a 180-degree inversion, then climbs more than 200-feet in the air where they will find themselves suspended, dangling in the air, before repeating the entire chilling experience. David Freese Belts Walk-off HR to help Cardinals Win Game 6 of the World Series 2011. This may go down in history as the greatest competition ever played, and certainly one of the greatest games in WS history. Twice the Cardinals were down to their final strike and final out to lose the 2011 WS to the Texas Rangers and twice they overcame to tie the game or take the lead. More than once they faced--what appeared to be--insurmountable adversity--more than once they overcame it. Other heroes included Lance "Puma" Berkman who drove a ball into CF with two strikes and two outs to tie the game. Albert Pujols who reached base in the final innings more than once, including a double to get a rally started after the Cards when down 7-4. Yadier Molina who drew a bases-loaded walk and an RBI....and again, the hometown boy David Freese--who played little league in Pond and high school ball at Lafayett--drove a ball into deep right field for a triple and two RBIs with two outs to tie the game in the later innings before this walk off homer. A legend is born.

FIgured it's about time to finally post something that related to drums and music seeing that everything I've ever posted is just a bunch of craziness really. I loved playing with NIN and the last month I was on tour with them decided to throw up a couple of FLIP cameras, get a live mix from the board that night of a few songs (thanks Pete) and one day I'd get around to messing around with them on my lap-top. Well, the Lights In The Sky fan video that just came out was great and inspired me to put this one up for the drummers that have ever asked me to post drum-related stuff (and anyone else interested.) Try and get through the first half because the 2nd half is pretty kick ass! I'm proud of my involvement with NIN and to stay I enjoyed doing this every night would be an understatement. -Josh
