dun. hack for enV touch (Mac)
this hack will allow you to use the Verizon Wireless 3G internet on your computer through your phone...the video explains it all Step 1: Open your enV touch and dial ##program11000 (##776472611000) and hit send. Step 2: When prompted for a service code just type six zeros. (000000) Step 3: Once in the menu, choose 4, then 1, then 8, then 4. This should be the MIP DUN NAI menu. Step 4: You will see 5555555555@dun.vzw3g.com (5555555555 being your phone number). Simply delete the dun. so that all you are left with is 5555555555@vzw3g.com Save this and return to the home screen. Step 5: Connect your phone to your computer via Bluetooth. To do so you must first turn on the phone's Bluetooth and select SHOW. Then you will open your Bluetooth Settings on your Mac and select Set Up A New Device. Select mobile phone, when your phone (LGVX11000) shows, click continue. A service number will appear on both your Mac and your phone. Once you select yes, when prompted, select Always Ask. Step 6: Once your phone and Mac are connected, you will see a check box selecting to access internet from your mobile phone. Click continue. Once you get to enter the info simply enter this: Phone Type: Generic Connection Type: Dial Up Dial-up number: #777 User name: 5555555555@vzw3g.com Password: vzw Finish up and close out that window. Step 7: Now open Network Preferences. Click on Bluetooth and all of your phone's info should be saved. Click connect and it should do the work from there. As long as <b>...</b>

Step 7: Allow it to verify information and all other processes until it shows that you are connected to the internet. Save the connection if you wish. As long as you don't put dun. back into the phones settings, you will be able to access the internet through this connection. HAVE FUN AND HAPPY HACKING!

Everyone keeps asking about the doublekill alert tone. so here it is There is no charge for this ringtone. Standard carrier rates apply. LG EnV Touch Polaris7 Browser with v08 Firmware Demo
This is just a quick demonstration of the new Polaris7 browser in the v08 software on the EnV Touch. It was only available for a short time through LG before they took it down, it was buggy, and only worked for a select few. I was able to repair my failed update and got it to work! For more information, visit this thread: www.envtouch.org The update was only available for a short time (about a day or so) before LG took it down, Verizon never even got their hands on it (that I know of), all of the customer service reps I talked to said they had no information on the v08 update. It's definitely cool to have this browser, and it completely changes the phone. I use the web a lot, and this will definitely make it a cool phone to use. If you're wondering what theme I'm using, it's the Droid theme available here: www.envtouch.org You need Bitpim to install it on the phone.
