The character of Dr. Eldon Tyrell is presented as a kind of deity figure who has the power of creating life, but unable to prevent death. In the original screenplay Ridley Scott wanted this character as well as Deckard to be a replicant. During the development of the original story-line the Tyrell Corporation megastructure building is actually a pyramid, and at the base of this is a cryogenic chamber which houses the body of the real Tyrell. The replicant Tyrell, by creating near human genetically engineered machines is also trying to discover a way to bring the real Tyrell back to life. Another variation had the bones buried beneath the building protected by the mysteries of 'pyramid power'.

Naturopathic Doctor, Eldon Dahl and his family were raided by Health Canada and the RCMP on January 15, 2009 for selling Natural Health products. Dr. Dahl agreed to an onsite interview at Toronto's 2010 Whole Life Expo to discuss health freedom and his ordeal. Since the date of this video's release, Dr. Dahl remains embroiled in a court battle with Health Canada involving the so called "illegal" sale of natural health products. I found this at an estate sale for $20, broken (the pin setter would not raise at all). The fix required more than a few popsicle sticks, a healthy amount of superglue, and a lot of slow, patient carving with a Dremel. In the end, I got the custom built wooden arms (and accordingly glued custom built wooden cam follower) to attach to the original apparatus without any glue, screws, or other affixations - the carved receivers in the wooden arms simply mesh (almost) perfectly with the existing mechanism.
