Worldwide Congregational Torah Reading

na show of solidarity with the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the following churches/organizations will read from the Torah during their weekend service this coming August 13 or 14th. This weekend was chosen for several reasons. The Torah portion that will be read in every synagogue around the world for that weekend will be from Deuteronomy 3:23 through chapter 7:11. The suggested reading from this Torah portion is the greatest commandment found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 that we love the Lord with all our heart, mind soul and strength. It is know in Judaism as the Shema and begins with asking Israel to hear and obey the Lord and realize He is the one and only God. So Christians will literally be joining a chorus of voices proclaiming on earth and to the heavens that the God of Israel is the One and Only God.

Fundamental Baptist Singing Congregational "Follow On" hymn

www.faithfulwordbaptist.org "Follow On" Down in the valley with my Saviour I would go, Where the flowers are blooming and the sweet waters flow; Everywhere He leads me I would follow, follow on, Walking in His footsteps till the crown be won. Refrain Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus! Anywhere, everywhere, I would follow on! Follow! follow! I would follow Jesus! Everywhere He leads me I would follow on! Down in the valley with my Saviour I would go, Where the storms are sweeping and the dark waters flow; With His hand to lead me I will never, never fear, Danger cannot fright me if my Lord is near. Down in the valley, or upon the mountain steep, Close beside my Saviour would my soul ever keep; He will lead me safely in the path that He has trod, Up to where they gather on the hills of God.
