JOHNNY REBEL - CONFEDERATE ANTHEM

I am a proud Texan and Southerner. God bless the South and y'all Southerners who love their heritage. LYRICS: O I'm a good old rebel, Now that's just what I am, And for this Yankee nation, I do not give a damn, I'm glad I fought against her, I only wish we'd won, And I ain't asked any pardon, for anything I've done... I hate this Yankee nation, And everything they do, I hate the Declaration of Independence too, I hate the glorious Union, 'Tis dripping with our blood, And I hate the striped banner, And fit it all I could... I rode with Robert E. Lee, For three years, there about, Got wounded in four places, And I starved at Point Lookout, I caught the rheumatism, A camping in the snow, But I killed a chance of Yankees, and Id like to killed some more.... Three hundred thousand Yankees, are stiff in Southern dust, We got three hundred thousand, Before they conquered us, They died of Southern fever, And Southern steel and shot, I wish there were three million, Instead of what we got.... I can't take up my musket, And fight 'em now no more, But I ain't gonna love 'em, Now that is certain sure, And I don't want no pardon, For what I was and am, I won't be reconstructed, And I do not give a damn... O I'm a good old rebel, Now that's just what I am, And for this Yankee nation, I do not give a damn, I'm glad I fought against her, I only wish we'd won, And I ain't asked any pardon, for anything I've done...

CONFEDERATE SONG ~ THE IRISH BRIGADE

I am a proud Texan and Southerner. God bless the South and y'all Southerners who love their heritage. LYRICS: Listen all ye that hold communion With Southern Confederates who are bold, And I will tell you of some men for the Union Who in northern ranks were enrolled; They came to Missouri in their glory And thought at their might we'd be dismayed; But they soon had a different story When they met Kelly's Irish Brigade. CHORUS: When they met with the Irish Brigade me boys When they met with the Irish Brigade Didn't those cowardly Lincolnites tremble When they met with the Irish Brigade. They have called us rebels and traitors, But themselves have thrown off that name of late. They were called it by the English invaders At home in the eve of ninety eight The name to us is not a new one though, Tis one that shall never degrade And it's true-hearted Irishmen In the ranks of Kelly's Irish Brigade. CHORUS Well they dare not call us invaders, 'Tis but state rights and liberty we ask; And Missouri, we will ever defend her, No matter how hard may be the task. Then let the Irishmen assemble, Let the voice of Missouri be obeyed; And the northern fanatics will tremble When again they meet Kelly's Irish Brigade. CHORUS Music: David Kincaid This is a song of the Irish Confederates of Missouri.

Mexican Confederates

This is a tribute to our brave Mexican heros who honorably served the Confederacy. It has been estimated that about 13000 Hispanics served in the ranks of the Confederacy. There were at least 3000 Mexicans in Texas alone that joined the Confederate Army. Mexicans who fought for the Confederacy outnumbered the amount of Mexicans fighting for the Union by a ratio of 3:1. There were many motivating forces for Mexicans to join the Confederate army. The increasing hostilities between the Federals and Confederacy in Virginia, and the threat of Union occupation of the Texas coast forces people all across Texas to join the Confederacy, and Mexicans were no exception. Mexican soldiers entered Confederate service imbued with the same patriotism as their Anglo comrades did. Many Mexicans who enlisted in the Confederate Army saw combat far from home. A few who joined Hood's Texas Brigade marched off to Virginia and fought in the battles of Gaines' Mill, Second Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, the Wilderness, and Appomattox Court House. Thirty Tejanos who enlisted from San Antonio, Eagle Pass, and the Fort Clark joined Trevanion T. Teel's artillery company, and thirty-one more joined Charles L. Pyron's company, both in John R. Baylor's Second Texas Mounted Rifles, which marched across the deserts of West Texas to secure the Mesilla valley. These units were later incorporated into Gen. Henry Hopkins Sibley's Confederate Army of New Mexico and fought bravely at the battle ...

CONFEDERATE SONG ~ IRISH SOLDIERS

I am a proud Texan and Southerner. God bless the South and y'all Southerners who love their heritage. LYRICS: Oh, not now for songs of a nation's wrongs, not the groans of starving labor; Let the rifle ring and the bullet sing to the clash of the flashing sabre! There are Irish ranks on the tented banks of Columbia's guarded ocean; And an iron clank from flank to flank tells of armed men in motion. And frank souls there clear true and bare To all, as the steel beside them, Can love or hate withe the strength of fate, Till the grave of the valiant hide them. Each seems to be mailed Ard Righ, whose sword's avenging glory Must light the fight and smite for right, Like Brian's in olden story. With pale affright and panic flight Shall dastard Yankees base and hollow, Hear a Celtic race, from their battle place, Charge to the shout of "Faugh-a-ballaugh!" By the sould above, by the land we love Her tears bleeding patience The sledge is wrought that shall smash to naught The brazen liar of nations. The Irish green shall again be seen as our Irish fathers bore it, A burning wind from the South behind, and the Yankee rout before it! O'Neil's red hand shall purge the land- Rain a fire on men and cattle, Till the Lincoln snakes in their own cold lakes Plunge from the blaze of battle. The knaves that rest on Columbia's breast, and the voice of true men stifle; we'll exorcise from the rescued prize- Our talisman, the rifle; For a tyrant's life a bowie knife!- Of Union knot dissolvers ...

Black Heroes Of The Confederacy: 50000 Volunteer For The South

Slavery was wrong, no doubt about it. But did you know there were Black Confederate soldiers. This is a fact, not fiction. Conservative estimates state that over 50000 African-Confederates served in the Confederate Army. Many of these men saw combat and participated in it. Some died. Although the Confederate Congress did not authorize Colored Units in the Confederate Army until 1865, when it was too late, there were many unofficial soldiers overlooked by officers who were desperate to fill the ranks so quickly dwindling. Also, many individual Southern states authorized colored militia units. For example, Alabama in 1862. Some would ask, "Why would they serve; why would they fight?" They served and fought for the same reasons as their white counterparts. They felt that the South was their home, too. Whether slave or free, each had a stake in the society and each had a home they felt endeared to. For example, many Charleston negroes actually cheered at the possibility that they would be able to shoot Yankees shortly after the outbreak of War. (1) African-Confederates not only offered their services as soldiers but also as laborers. Many colored communities took up collections for the Confederate War Effort. Even individual negroes, both free and slave, contributed their money for the Confederate Government. The African-Confederate went to War for the South as body servants, teamsters, laborers, and even soldiers. Many saw action. Some were wounded and some were killed in ...

This film reveals the intimate details of the soldiers' lives in their own words, such as their weapons of choice, their uniforms and how soldiers form fellowships during the war that last throughout their lives. How did General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson earn his nickname? How did both Union and Confederate soldiers wield Confederate General John Chambliss' sword? This comprehensive documentary highlights never-before-told stories of Confederate soldiers, including accounts of the battle at Fort Sumter, a Confederate After Action Report at Gettysburg and much more

A Tribute To Our Jewish Confederate Heroes

A Tribute To Our Jewish Confederate Heroes By: Heritage Not Hate Productions "We count about 10000 to 12000 Jews who are serving in our Army" - General Samuel Cooper "We were not fighting for the perpetuation of slavery, but for the principles of States Rights and Free Trade, and in defense of our homes which were being ruthlessly invaded." - Moses Jacob Ezekiel "I am still a living witness and can, from my own memory, give you many names of gallant Jewish soldiers of the confederate Army. I had ample opportunity to see and to know. Many a wounded Jew have I met in the hospitals of Richmond and administered to his wants, and many a Jewish soldier have I seen walking on his crutch or having his arm in a sling, traveling to and from his command during the war. And I know further that it was simply a sense of loyalty to their homes and their neighbors that prompted them to fight for the South. If not, they could readily have left this country at any time as I myself could have done, had I so chosen. But love for our adopted country kept us here and we offered all we had in its behalf." - Joseph Goldsmith 1895 Yis'ga'dal v'yis'kadash sh'may ra'bbo, b'olmo dee'vro chir'usay v'yamlich malchu'say, b'chayaychon uv'yomay'chon uv'chayay d'chol bais Yisroel, ba'agolo u'viz'man koriv; v'imru Omein.
