Ya another Bronco vid. This is a compilation of the overall progress of the bronco. Before I bought it the thing sat in a field being munched on and crapped in by mice. The guy I bought it from didn't even think the engine was any good but it had a clean title. $300 later it was mine... I fixed a ground wire and a coil and she started... I put about 10 total man hours just into vacuuming...yuck.. And I put several more hours into the thing to get it where it is today... Still gonna cut the roof off this summer.. Should be fun!

1985 Bronco II with a 5.4 liter V8
My good friend and mentor built this Bronco II 4x4 using a 5.4 liter engine from a 2002 Lincoln Navigator. The Navigator had 300 miles on it when it was rolled. I brought the engine home from San Diego in early 2003. My friend, who is 75, had been working on the Bronco II for the past 6 years. Everything works. The firewall had to be cut away and moved back and everything was re-welded and retrofitted. The under dash A/C system is the type used in older cars when A/C was a dealer installed option. The transmission is a Ford AOD that had the bell housing welded to the tranny since there are no 5.4 liter AODs for four wheel drives. The AOD was also worked over for maximum durability. The engine came with all the wires cut so my friend made his own wire harness as well as the MAF, which is made from several different units. The exhaust is a single 4" tube made from a drive shaft that was cut and welded to make the bends. I have watched the evolution of this build over the years and it has a ton of money and time. He did all the work himself under his car port. The Bronco II started out as a 2.9 liter V6, which was then upgraded to a 4.0 V6 with a home made intake manifold with a small Carter/Edelbrock 4 barrel on top. The 4.0 kept shredding the original 4-speed manual transmissions (I killed one, don't tell though) after the third dead transmission he decided to go full retard. He originally wanted to get the engine from a Ford Lightening, but didn't want to give what the <b>...</b>

Hydrogen Cell in my Bronco II, first test for "Nay" sayers.
This video is of my new cell, we are going to either prove the cell works, or prove the "Nay" sayers right. I think that the cell just may work, we restore classic cars and build hot rods, trucks etc. here at ASJ, so I am more apt to prove something does not work, than to prove it does. Later we will dyno the test vehicle and see if there are any hp changes using Hydro power. (That is if it works.) I have an 87 Bronco II with just over 70k on it. I am getting 21.38 MPG now, this video shows my new and improved cell, I liked this one enough to go ahead and install it. This video also shows the safety catches I have in the system, if anyone has any questions, suggestions or comments, please feel free to express yourself. Later we will do another video showing the fuel mileage increase or decrease with the fuel cell running. This vehicle has only ran a test cell for 26 miles, no other cell until this one has been installed. Thanks for watching.

1990 Ford Bronco II XLT 4x4 2.9 Liter Fuel Injected V6 5-speed. 125000 miles. Driven daily. Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Cassette, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Intermittent Wipers, Privacy Glass, Fold Down Rear Seats, Trip Odometer, Chrome Bumpers, Rear Cargo Light, Spare Tire Cover, Automatic Locking Front Hubs, Coolant Temperature Gauge, Tachometer, Voltmeter. Non-smoker. Interior in good condition. Has a crack in dash over glove box. Front seats are a little worn. No tears or rips. New Muffler. New front brakes and calipers. Good front tires. Fair back tires. A/C not very cold. New inspection. Has some rust and the usual 2.9 liter V6 lifter tick.

My Bronco II's current exhaust. Im not trying to be a "poser" or sound like a v8, I just wanted an exhaust that sounded good to me. The middle of the video is what I call the "jake brake" sound, at about 3500rpms under compression braking on a hill the exhaust will smooth out and produce a sound similar to a jake brake, my friends have also noticed it too. The gauges on the dash are also not a poser item, I find them to be important on a 2.9 and I put them on the dash for visibility purposes.

Camping With the Bronco II
Went camping for a week in the Forrest, took some video of my rig, nothing serious since we had no tow rig. Its an 88 Bronco II, 2.9 V6 5 speed manual with 4.10 gears, 3" body lift, 31" tires and a rear locker. The exhaust is a 2 1/2" flowmaster 40 series with no cat.

Finally got around to dropping a new battery in the rolled over, shot and left for dead 1984 Bronco II. The starter is bad so I towed it with the Wagoneer. It hasn't been run since the wreck a few weeks ago. It fired right up. Tough as nails.

Bronco II 4x4 on 33 tractor tires
My 1987 Bronco II doing some off-roading the truck is all stock, except for the tires and a two inch block lift under the rear springs. I had to cut the fenders for the 33s, and I felt wheel spacers would be good for safety and necessary for tire clearance. One day I hope to have a winch, and do a decent paint job on her. Photos and videos were all shot and edited by me. 2.9 fuel injected V6 manual tranny with low range no lockers or limited slip, front grill guard and rear hatch are custom built Hopefully I'll be getting out a new mudding video by summers end please rate/comment, thanks
