1962 Vanden Plas 3 Litre classic car
BMC Vanden Plas Princess 3 litre made in 1962. Same car virtually as Wolseley 6/110 and the Austin Westminster. Has a 2912cc straight 6 engine with automatic gearbox. Two tone colour scheme is original. Fuel consumption? Better not ask....................................

This is my Austin A99 Westminster which I used for the National Rally. There was another A99 also on the rally as shown in one of the other videos. Both of these A99's are the only ones known to still be on the road in New Zealand.

1961 Calgary Loop Rally - Historic 16mm motorsports film

Here's a remarkable historical piece. 16mm color film footage with narration covering the 1961 loop rally around the Calgary area. Dig that crazy jazz beat! Look for some amazing cars including a gull wing Mercedes, yes, a gull wing. As well, look for MGAs, a 1957 Sunbeam Rapier, Triumph TR3, Alfa Romeo Guilietta, Daimler SP250, Porsche 356, Austin Westminster A99, Jaguar and more. The rally begins in Calgary and heads towards Banff, look for the old traffic circle at Minnewanka road, long since gone. Johnsons' Canyon road is also featured, town of Banff, Radium BC, The Beacon Hotel and Highlander hotel are glimpsed briefly, anyone remember Freakin' at the Beacon? Beautifully shot by photographers Sammy Rooker & David Fast, it's quite the treat to see what Calgary looked like nearly 50 years ago. A very big thank you to Shawn Bishop and the CSCC!

Goodwood Revival 2010, St Mary's Trophy, Race One
Race one of the St Mary's Trophy for saloon cars raced between 1950 and 1959. Martin Brundle was the highlight of the race for me, moving up from 4th place to challenge for the lead in his Austin A35 (car# 1), before contact with the leader punctured a tyre and ultimately put him out of the race. His efforts were more than appreciated by the crowd though! Tom Kristensen took the victory in his first visit to the Revival (driving an Austin A95 Westminster), after a good race with Patrick Watts (in the Volvo Amazon 122S) was cut short by mechanical failure.
Choreography for Pride & Prejudice
NEW WILMINGTON, PA- Theatre Westminster presents "Pride & Prejudice" at the end of April and the show requires the cast to perform period dances associated with the Jane Austin classic. So where does the theater department go to choreograph these elements for the show. WCN videographer Kayla Zoller introduces us to a Jane Austin expert who's ready to teach the cast the moves they need to keep this production authentic.

Christchurch Earthquake Vigil Service at Westminster Cathedral, London (Part 1 of 2)
The Second Part of this video can be seen at www.youtube.com On the 2nd of March 2011 5000 people gathered in Londons Westminster Cathedral for a vigil service commemorating the lost and missing people of Christchurch. The Service was the single biggest ever held by Westminster Cathedral, eclipsing even the Popes visit. Speakers Included: Derek Leask (High Commissioner), Paddy Austin (Ex-city Christchurch City Councilor), Chris O'Malley (Broadcaster), Brigadier Phil Gibbons (New Zealand Army), Anthem lead by Hayley Westenra, Waiata/hymns lead by Ngati Ranana (London Maori Culture Group).
