This is a video I made for a presentation on Dog Agility. It is a very basic introduction to the sport and shows the most common obstacles and the general structure you might see at competitions. It doesn't go into all the finer details and rules of competition (which vary greatly between different organizations), or every possible obstacle (which also varies with different organizations). It is rather meant as a very basic introduction for someone that wants to know, in general, what is involved in the sport. The dog featured at the end ("lets watch it all together now at a real trial" part) is my very own Dazzle. The filming was done at local agility trails including NADAC and AKC events. These are some of Dazzle's runs from the Mega-Dogs Memorial Day Weekend NADAC agility trial. She had some really great moments here. Unfortunately because I still can't run (just another couple months of that! yay!) I can't get to the place where I would like to be fast enough, or turn sharp enough, or whatever. Dazzle has been doing a great job dealing with our strange handling right now so any Qs we manage to get are pretty special! The major accomplishment of the weekend was completing her Elite Chances title (ECC) which finishes her Elite Versatility Award!
