Brotherhood Of Sleep - Dark As Light

a song from their album "Dark As Light" (2011) Psychedelic Doom Rock band from Greece On Autumn 2006 the basis was laid down for a new group from its two founding members, George G. /guitar (ex-Choir Macabre) and John K. /guitar (Afformance). The main concept would be experimentation in heavy music. Without pre-set ideas on how or what to play they've started rehearsing giving birth to the first main riffs that would later on constitute the nucleus of what was next to come. On this ride after a couple of months along came Serafim G. (also of Ancestral House of the Sun, Uranium Cardinals, Frank Siddhatra) on drums. A few rehearsals followed with this line-up so they all start realising their parts within this musical journey and how they could put their personal perspectives to the aid of the whole. Meantime and due to excessive obligations John K. had to leave. Danis A. on bass came in to save the day. The group re-started rehearsing in a frequent and consistent manner to bring out the best possible of each member so that musical entity that would be later referred to as Brotherhood Of Sleep could be conceived, grasped and in depth understood from everyone in the band. An esoteric approach which aims consciously to balance sound, mind and spirit.

We Made God - The Start Is A Finish Line

a song from their album "It's Getting Colder" (2011) Post Metal / Experimental Band from Iceland If normal pop music is like watching a sunny day through a passenger window, We Made God's music would be like riding a monster truck through a blizzard. Violent and adrenaline filled, broken up by the occasional calm eye of the storm. Their debut As We Sleep has been touted as "Referencing the otherworldly ambient atmospherics of Sigur Rós and Deftones' driving, muscular riffs" by Q Magazine who gave them a 4/5 for their "audacious debut". Kerrang magazine was equally thrilled by their debut album, giving them 4 Ks and dubbing it "simultaneously soporific and terrifying" as well as selecting them as one of their Must Hear acts of 2008. We Made God has had a permanent slot on the Kerrang nights at the Iceland Airwaves music festival, always gaining a constant review of 4 Ks for their atmospheric live performance. Having toured extensively around Iceland since their birth We Made God made their presence known in Great Britain in 2008 with an intense tour from Scotland to London, playing 11 gigs in under two weeks. We Made God are one of those cases where the community played a huge role in the development of their fame. Together with their fans they've carved out a niche for themselves, mixing together the tones of the northern lights with the bludgeoning riffs of a polar ice storm. Angel Vivaldi - A Mercurian Summer

a song from the album "Universal Language" (2011) Angel Vivaldi began his musical journey at the age of 15 with no intention of ever becoming an instrumentalist. Now at 24 years of age, the self-instructed guitarist of only 9 years is geared up for his upcoming EP "The Speed of Dark;" proving that you don't have to be a stereotype to write great music. Angel's debut album, "Revelations," gained him enough notoriety to land him a spot as lead guitarist for Black Market Hero, (feat members of 40 Below Summer/FLAW). In addition to that, Angel has managed to captivate audiences non-stop with 3 other well known acts such as: With Daggers Drawn, Methodical (Toxic Shock Records) and Enstride. With a profusion of catchy hooks, monster break-downs, eruptive blast beats, and face-peeling guitar work "The Speed of Dark" undoubtedly distinguishes Angel from his shred peers and into a musical spectrum that tastefully blends the Killswitch Engages with the Steve Vais. The exuberance of the new EP is delivered ten-fold during live performances. Crowds leave with a lot more than hypnotizing melodies in their heads and dropped jaws- they leave inspired. "I believe that as a performer you're obligated to give the audience something- whether it's a thought, an emotion, a day dream, or a head-ache," says Angel. "In order to be remembered you need to be conscious of how the audience will remember you." His passion for music and determination for success holds absolutely no bounds. The plan is ...

Professor Fate - The Glutonous

a song from the album "The Inferno" (2007) Professor Fate is Mick Kenney's (Anaal Nathrakh/Exploder/Mistress) solo project that produces cinematic style music. It is a form of epic classical that fuses intertwined drumbeats with orchestral rock and electronic sounds. The music screams "soundtrack" in its every audible moment, with grand, sweeping soundscapes that inspire cinematic imagery even in the dark. The inferno presents you with a powerfully potent journey through the caverns of the underworld, Inspired by Dante Alighieri's book, 'The Divine Comedy'. Song writer Mick Kenney, who is also responsible for the underground notables Anaal Nathrakh/Exploder/Mistress, has over the years grown into a cult figure in the metal and rock community. Mick has worked with artists such as Attila Csihar (Mayhem) Shane Embury (Napalm Death) and Kris Rygg (Arcturus/Ulver) and has appeared on BBC radio and TV multiple times (Never mind the Buzzcocks, John Peel Sessions).
