Frank Sinatra - That's Life

Follow me on twitter twitter.com Soon I will get my own professional website up and rolling! Frank Sinatra - That's Life Music Video Hi this is my second year project for my Media Studies A-Level !On here you cant really tell but when you see the man on stage it is in old age film in which gives it the old feel with the age effect! I enjoyed making this from creating the lighting on the stage to editing! I hope you enjoy it to! The story I created was about a man who was a performer who had everything he ever dreamed of, from having his name in lights to just being able to perform on stage. In my video I have captured from how you see him being on stage at his best performing and then walking around the streets of London as if he was still in his prime. For every star there is always an end and for this performer he didnt want to believe that it was and I have shown this from showing him walking into the theatre and walking round London dressed smart as if he still had everything. However when you see him chucked out of the theatre you see he is only a tramp living on the streets trying to make his dream become real again. I show the difference between the realities of him being on stage by using an old age effect to show that was the past, but when showing him walking into the theatre and around London you see he is still dressed smart but life around him has changed. When his career ended he didnt let it go and by trying too hard to get back onto stage he forgot about ...

Frank Sinatra -Summer Wind (1966)

Summer Wind first recorded by Wayne Newton in 1965 but is most known by Frank Sinatra which was released in 1966 in his album, Strangers in the Night. Music: Henry Mayer Lyrics: (By Johnny Mercer) The summer wind came blowin' in From across the sea It lingered there to touch your hair And walk with me All summer long we sang a song And then we strolled that golden sand Two sweethearts and the summer wind Like painted kites, those days and nights They went flying by The world was new beneath the blue Umbrella sky Then softer than a piper man One day, it called to you I lost you I lost you to The summer wind The autumn wind And the winter winds They have come and gone And still those days Those lonely days They go on and on And guess who’s sigh`s His lullabies through nights that never end My fickled friend, The summer wind The summer wind warm summer wind Mmm the summer wind

Frank Sinatra - My Way

Frank Sinatra - My Way lyrics : And now, the end is here And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and ev'ry highway And more, much more than this, I did it my way Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway And more, much more than this, I did it my way Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill, my share of losing And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way, "Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way" For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows and did it my way! [instrumental] Yes, it was my way

Sounding much like he would during his Capitol period, with his voice now richer and deeper, this lovely ballad, written by Ned Washington and Victor Young, was recorded in New York on January 16, 1951 and released by Columbia. The arranger was Axel Stordahl. It is included in the 12 CD box set, The Columbia Years, 1943-1952, The Complete Recordings.

Frank SINATRA - If You Go Away (Reprise® Recordings 1969)

Frank Sinatra Reprise® Recordings (J.Brel, R.McKuen) [Recorded February 20, 1969, Hollywood] If you go away on this summer day, Then you might as well take the sun away; All the birds that flew in the summer sky, When our love was new and our hearts were high; When the day was young and the night was long, And the moon stood still for the night bird's song. If you go away, if you go away, if you go away, if you go away But if you stay, I'll make you a day Like no day has been, or will be again; We'll sail the sun, we'll ride on the rain, We'll talk to the trees worship the wind. Then if you go, I'll understand, Leave me just enough love to fill up my hand, If you go away, if you go away, if you go away, if you go away.. If you go away, as I know you must, There'll be nothing left, in the world to trust, Just an empty room, full of empty space, Like the empty look I see on your face. I'd have been the shadow of your dog If I thought it might have kept me by your side. If you go away, if you go away, if you go away, Please don't go away..

And I brought some corn for popping. Lights are turned down low Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow. When we finaly kiss, good night. How I'll hate going out in the storm. But if you really hold me tight, All the way home I'll be warm. The fire is slowly dyin' And my dear we're still good-byein', As long as you love me so Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow. [Chorus] Weather outside is frightful, But that fire is... hmmm delightful. Since we've no place to go Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow. It doesn't show signs of stopping. Frank Sinatra Pop

Strangers in the night -Frank Sinatra.

Strangers in the Night is a 1966 album by Frank Sinatra. The album marked Sinatra's return to #1 on the pop album charts in the mid-1960s, and it consolidated the comeback he started in 1966. Combining pop hits with show tunes and standards, the album creates a balance between big band and pop instrumentation. The single "Strangers in the Night" also reached #1 on the pop single charts, while "Summer Wind" would slowly become a classic, used for television commercials and mood-setting entrances by the 2000s. At the Grammy Awards of 1967 Sinatra garnered two Grammy Awards for his efforts on this album, including the Record of the Year for the title track "Strangers in the Night", as well as Best Male Vocal Performance for the same song. (He also won a further Grammy award that same year, the Album of the Year for A Man and His Music). Ernie Freeman's arrangement of the title track won him the Grammy Award for Best Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist or Instrumentalist. Strangers in the Night has been certified platinum for 1 million copies sold in the US It is the only "regular" Sinatra album to achieve this mark (the others to do so have been greatest hits/compilation albums, Christmas albums, or the end-of-career "Duets" albums). Also, this album has been released as a "Deluxe Edition" on January 26, 2010. Including 3 bonus tracks (2 recorded tracks of "Strangers in the Night" and "All or Nothing at All" performed at the Budokan Hall from 1985, and an alternate take of ...

Sinatra:That Old Black Magic NBC 1954

To Be Perfectly Frank was Sinatra's last radio series which aired on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15 - 8:30. Frank played DJ (Hence the reference to the NBC turntable) and played his own Columbia and Capitol recordings, as well as other artists, but also sang new songs which were pre-recorded in Hollywood and broadcast on this show. Frank had previously recorded That Old Black Magic in 1946 and would do so again in 1961 but many of the recordings for NBC were songs he didn't commercially record, The musicians were known as The Sinatra Symphonette and consisted of Bill Miller on piano, possibly Al Viola or Tony Mottola on guitar, possibly Sunny Salad on alto-sax, clarinet & flute and possibly Johnny Blowers on drums - the reference to "local 47" is I believe a musicians union. The intro is spoken by Eddie King and the music is the Walking and Whistling Blues by Les Paul.

Frank Sinatra - The Impossible dream (with lyrics)

This song was made thinking of a war, but the quotidian life is a war, where we are our worst enemy. The lyrics are perfect and does reflect. The Impossible Dream To dream the impossible dream To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow To run where the brave dare not go To right the unrightable wrong To be better far than you are To try when your arms are too weary To reach the unreachable star This is my quest, to follow that star No matter how hopeless, no matter how far To be willing to give when there's no more to give To be willing to die so that honor and justice may live And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest And the world will be better for this That one man, scorned and covered with scars, Still strove with his last ounce of courage To reach the unreachable star.
