Jesse performed with a group called "The Youngbloods and still writes music and performs (since the 1960's). The song "Get Together" was also used in the soundtrack to the film, Forrest Gump. "Darkness Darkness" was used in the soundtrack of James Cameron's film "Ghosts of the Abyss." Robert Plant, from Led Zeppelin, covered "Darkness Darkness" and won a Grammy in 2003 for Best Rock Vocal.
