I was amazed when the church music leaders came out and began performing what is essentially an iBand!!! They started out with just two guys holding iPads. One started out with a mixing software of some sort, the other joined in with another instrument to expand the sound. Then other people came out on stage with other sounds, a saxophone, a tamborine where the guy just shook the iPad like a tamborine, another had a keyboard, all kinds of stuff! Then unbelievably a guy comes out with an iphone or an iPod and starts playing something else. And last but not least, a guy comes out singing into his iPhone!!! All of this was fed through the sound system by hooking into the headphone jacks on the devices! I think Apple should use these guys to do a commercial for them - all christmas music on their devices.
