Charles Lloyd - Pathless Path
After looking for 25 years, I decided to post a clip of some really nice (but unidentified) instrumental music to You Tube to see if anyone could recognize this. Well someone did identify it and I am very grateful to Steve Davis/Eric Meece (KKUP) for their response. "The music is by Charles Lloyd from an album titled "Pathless Path" -- another version of the same album was called "Koto." It's out-of-print, but now on 'First Flight' compilation CD last year from Hearts of Space. The string instrument in question is the Japanese koto... and the wind instrument is the clarinet (although Charles Lloyd makes it sound almost like a soprano sax)." So 25 years later, my mystery is solved! :-)
