Momento de Reflexão O PECADO Caros Irmãos e Irmãs, hoje falaremos deste tema tão importante: O PECADO, foi e é a causa do mal que existiu e existe na Humanidade e, ao mesmo tempo, foi e é a manifestação da Infinita Misericórdia de Deus que quis redimir-nos dele com a Incarnação do Verbo de Deus. Por isso, Santo Agostinho o exclama: 'Oh! Feliz culpa que nos mereceu tão grande Redentor' O QUE É O PECADO? --Diz o Catecismo da Igreja Católica ( CIC): "O pecado é uma falta contra a razão, contra a recta consciência. É uma falha contra o verdadeiro amor para com Deus e para com o próximo, por causa de um apego perverso a certos bens". Santo Agostinho definiu-o como «uma palavra, um acto ou um desejo contrários à Lei eterna». O pecado é uma ofensa a Deus. O Salmo 50 diz: 'Pequei contra Vós, só contra Vós e fiz o mal diante dos Vossos olhos'. S. Agostinho diz ainda: «O pecado é o amor a si próprio levado até ao desprezo de Deus». A DIVERSIDADE DOS PECADOS: "É grande a variedade dos pecados. S. Paulo na Epístola aos Gálatas, diz: 'As obras da natureza decaída («carne») são claras: imoralidade, impureza, libertinagem, idolatria, feitiçaria, inimizades, discórdias, ciúme, fúrias, rivalidades, dissenções, facciosismo, invejas, excesso de bebida e comida e coisas semelhantes a estas. Sobre elas vos previno, como já vos tinha prevenido: os que praticam as acções como estas não herdarão o Reino de Deus (Gal 5,19-21).' DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org The Strangler is a 1964 crime thriller, directed by Burt Topper and starring Victor Buono, David McLean, Davey Davison and Ellen Corby, with a screenplay by Bill S. Ballinger. The film was inspired by the Boston Strangler, a serial killer of the 1960s. Leo Kroll (Buono) is a mother-fixated lab technician who collects dolls. He is also a serial killer, responsible for the death of a number of nurses, and is questioned by the police regarding those murders, but is released. Kroll claims his next victim, Clara (Bates), the nurse who has been looking after his possessive mother, who is in hospital after a heart attack. However, he leaves a doll behind at the murder scene. (A subplot features Kroll becoming enamored of Tally (Davison), one of the girls who works at the amusement park stall from which he won this doll.) Kroll is again questioned by the police, but successfully passes a lie detector test and is released. He visits his mother in hospital and tells her how he killed Clara, which induces a second, fatal heart attack. Returning to the amusement park, he sees Barbara (Sayer), Tally's co-worker, talking to the police. This makes Kroll frantic. As Kroll is talking to Barbara about the police, he is visibly nervous. He misses ring after ring while he plays the game. When Barbara mimics one of the dolls by saying "Mama", this reminds Kroll of his mother and finally sets him off. Kroll goes to Barbara's apartment and strangles her as <b>...</b>
