Another colourful episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Nav Utsav kicks off with a delightful performance of Ghoomar, a traditional Rajasthani folk dance. Amitabh Bachchan tells that this week is named Nav Utsav because the happiness spread by KBC to the common man is bigger than the festivals of our country. The first contestant to reach the Hot Seat is Prem Meena from Alwar, Rajashthan. Rahul Dev, the famous journalist sits once again as the Expert for the episode. Prem Meena sets her minimum guaranteed amount on the 5th question. Amitabh Bachchan makes a call to Prem Meena's favourite cricketer, Kapil Dev and lets her speak with him. She tells him that she is so inspired by him that she named her son Kapil. She gives a wrong answer on her 6th question and takes home a sum of Rs.80000. Next one to make it to the Hot Seat is a police constable Indrajeet Singh from Chhattisgarh. He sets her minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.1,60000. He makes Amitabh say his famous dialogue from the movie Zanjeer. He plays superbly and after winning Rs.25,00000, uses his last lifeline, Double Dip and 2 wrong answers make him drop down to Rs.1,60000. Amitabh Bachchan closes the show with a mythical reference of Ramayana, where Lord Rama asked Sugreev how far is Lanka, on which Sugreev replied that for hard workers, its near but for lazy people its very far.
