Carlos Santana et Buddy Guy - Montreux Jazz Festival

www.marinoshop.com.br - 1982 Drinkin' TNT 'n' Smokin' Dynamite (live) -- Blind Pig (rec. 1974 Montreax Jazz Fest.) Carlos Augusto Alves Santana (born July 20, 1947), known simply as Carlos Santana or Santana, is a Grammy Award-winning Mexican-born American Latin rock musician and guitarist. He became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, the Santana Blues Band, going mostly under the title "Santana," which created a highly successful blend of salsa, rock, blues, and jazz fusion. Their sound featured his often high-pitched and distorted guitar lines set against Latin American instrumentation such as timbales and congas. Santana continued to work in these forms over the following decades, and experienced a sudden resurgence of popularity and critical acclaim in the late 1990s. Over his career he has sold an estimated 80 million albums worldwide. George "Buddy" Guy (born July 30, 1936) is an American blues and rock guitarist and singer. Known as an inspiration to Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and other 1960s blues and rock legends, Guy is considered an important exponent of Chicago blues. He is the father of female rapper Shawnna. Guy is known for his showmanship; for example, he plays his guitar with drumsticks, or strolls into the audience while jamming and trailing a long guitar cord. Born in Lettsworth, Louisiana, Guy grew up in Louisiana where he learned to play guitar at a womens trucker convention[citation needed]. In the early '50s he began performing ...

Tori Amos - Winter (From "Live At Montreux 91/92")

For more info - www.eagle-rock.com These two concerts from Montreux in 1991 and 1992 catch Tori Amos right at the start of her solo career. The first from July 1991 was filmed a few months before the release of her "Little Earthquakes" album and the second from July 1992 followed a few months after. There is a fascinating progression from one year to the next as she grows in confidence and skill as a live performer, buoyed by the critical and commercial success of the album. Naturally most of the songs are taken from "Little Earthquakes" but there are also rare songs from her various EPs released across the two years which didn't make it onto the album including her distinctive takes on Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and "Thank You" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

Bonzo's Montreux 2 - JOEDRUMS

Hello Bonham Fans, I'm glad you stopped by. I wanted to make a Part 2 of Bonham's classic drum track from the CODA Album called "BONZO'S MONTREUX". If Bonham were alive today what would have sounded like, well I wanted to explore that idea on my drum kit, so I played his main riff and then did a little different idea with some congas and timbales. I hope you like it. Anyway here it is. LONG LIVE BONHAM. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS

Wish the sun to stand still. Reaching out to touch our own being Past a mortal as we Here we can be We can be here, be here now. Here we can be. AWAKEN SUNS HIGH STREAM THRU AWAKEN GENTLE STRONG DREAMS BEGIN HERE AWAKEN MASS .)(. MASS TOUCH STAR,SONG,AGE,LESS TOUCHING Workings of man set to ply out historical life. Reregaining the flower of the fruit of his tree. All awakening, all restoring you. Workings of man, crying out from the fires set aflame. By his blindness to see that the warmth of his being is promised for his seeing, his reaching so clearly. Workings of man driven far from the path. Rereleased in inhibitions So that all is left for you all is left for you all is left for you all this left for you now. Master of things. Master of light. Songs cast alight on you. All pure chance. Hark thru dark ties. As exists cross divided. That tunnel us out of sane existence. In all encircling mode. In challenge as direct. Oh closely guided plan. As eyes see young stars assemble. Talk Talk - Such a Shame (Live at Montreux)

Live at Montreux 1986 is a concert video release by the British synth pop band Talk Talk of a concert at 1986 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. The show was part of a tour that started in April 1986 to promote the band's recent album The Colour of Spring, and was to be their only appearance at Montreux, from their last tour. For this tour, the usual trio of Mark Hollis (vocals), Paul Webb (bass), and Lee Harris (drums) was augmented by John Turnbull on guitar, two percussion players, and two keyboard players. As often, de facto fourth band member Tim Friese-Greene did not play on stage with the band. :: Such a Shame :: Such a shame to believe in escape 'A life on every face' And that's a change Till I'm finally left with an eight Tell me to relax, I just stare Maybe I don't know if I should change A feeling that we share It's a shame Such a shame Number me with rage It's a shame Such a shame Number me in haste Such a shame This eagerness to change It's a shame The dice decide my fate And that's a shame In these trembling hands my faith Tells me to react, 'I don't care' Maybe it's unkind that I should change A feeling that we share It's a shame Such a shame Number me with rage It's a shame Such a shame Number me in haste Such a shame This eagerness to change Such a shame Tell me to relax, I just stare Maybe I don't know if I should change A feeling that we share It's a shame Such a shame Number me with rage It's a shame Such a shame Number me in haste It's a shame ...
