After taking the majority of 2010 off Kuffdam returned in February of 2011 with his 'City Lights' EP on Hyline Music which featured the vocals of Grant Paterson. Kuffdam's brand of energetic, driving trance was received to rave reviews once again and this turned out to be the perfect teaser for Kuffdam's much rumoured new album 'City Lights' which is just hitting Beatport exclusive now. The City Lights original has an amazing, energetic, driving trance feel to it. The production is rock solid and about as polished as you can get. The crystal clear male vocal is provided by Grant Paterson and it works well, definately some mainstream appeal but not cheesy at all. Certainly a great return for Kuffdam! Progressive's man of the moment 'Relaunch' is on the first remix and it's another killer production from the much sought after German producer. Here at Release Promo his recent remixes of Ivan Nikusev & Wav E and Jetlag's Shane have been in heavy rotation. His City Lights remix hits it on the head as well.
