Aunque otros robots han enviado antes imágenes de los túneles de las pirámides, los creadores de Djedi dicen que es el primero capaz de explorar las paredes y techos con detalle, en vez de sólo tomar fotos de frente gracias a la cámara "micro serpiente". La cámara también revisó dos pasadores incrustados en la puerta al final del túnel. En una declaración, Shaun Whitehead, de Scoutek UK, dijo: "La gente se ha preguntado por el propósito de estos pasadores por casi 20 años. Esfinge y Barca Solar Giza o Guiza (en árabe, الجيزة Al-Ŷīza, pronunciado Al-Gīza en dialecto egipcio) es una ciudad de Egipto en la orilla occidental del río Nilo, situada a unos 20 km al sudoeste del centro de El Cairo y que hoy, de hecho, forma parte del área metropolitana de la capital egipcia.
