(Original HD version and song explanation) On 12 June 2009, after 10 days of exciting campaign, 85% of eligible Iranian voters all over the world turned out to vote for their favorite candidate (Mousavi). But the morning after elections the result was not what they had voted for. Their votes were stolen, politicians, human right activists and opposition leaders had been arrested over night, foreign media corespondents and international journalists had been expelled and cities were full of riot police and security forces. Despite all these Iranians have come to streets to shout their freedom and ask for their vote. Hundreds have been killed so far and thousands have been arrested. But until now, after 40 days, Iranians inside Iran still continue their protests, and all over the world expat Iranians and other countries' citizens support them by protesting in front of Iran embassies. This movement is known as the "Green Movement" because of using green color by Iranian protestors that was Mousavi's (opposition leader) campaign color. UPDATE: One year and half after fraudulent elections in Iran and Iranians still protest. They follow the non-violence movement rules and they ask for their freedom and end to religious dictatorship. Government oppresses the protests brutally, they killed many more, executed a lot of protestors, tortured and raped them in the prisons but they couldn't stop protests and people demand for freedom. EH PAISANS!! Here are a couple of classic italian songs from The Gaylords 1958 Mercury LP, "Let's Have A Pizza Party". The first is the instrumental "Sicilian Tarantella" and the second is the Carlo Buti classic, "La Romanina". Burt Bonaldi handles the lead vocal on this one and it is by far my favorite version. The vocal blending of Burt along with his partner the late Ronnie Friedianelli was truly incredible. It made for some of the finest italian recordings ever! So pour a glass of vino and enjoy!!

Anna Maria Mazzini, OMRI,[1] best known as Mina, (born 25 March 1940 as Anna Maria Mazzini) is an Italian pop singer. For her voice and performing talent, she was a star attraction of the Italian television variety shows and a dominant figure on the Italian charts. She has sold over 76 million records. Mina gave up public appearances in 1978 while has continued to release albums on a yearly basis to date. Mina's TV appearances in 1959 presented the first female rocker in Italy. Her loud syncopated singing earned her the nickname "Queen of Screamers". For her wild gestures and body shakes, the publicity labeled her the "Tiger of Cremona". Having turned to light pop tunes, her chart-toppers in West Germany and Japan in 19621964 earned Mina the title of the best international artist in the countries. Originally in surf rock style, her hit "Renato" is a pop standard in Estonia. Mina's more refined sensual manner was introduced in 1960 with Gino Paoli's ballad "Il cielo in una stanza", which charted in US Mina's pregnancy and relationship with a married actor caused her a ban on the public Italian channels in 1963 as it did not accord with the dominant catholic and bourgeois morals. Dominick The Italian Christmas Donkey song
Dominic the Italian Donkey song and video Dominick the Donkey is a well known Christmas song written by Ray Allen and Lou Monte and first sung by Lou Monte in 1960. For decades the song was only occasionally heard. Oldies 103.3 WODS of Boston, Massachusetts and WCBS-FM in New York are common stations that play the song around Christmas . It was perceived to be too novel for the softer music stations and too old or corny for CHR/Top 40 stations. But beginning in the early 1990's, more contemporary artists began to record Christmas music. As a result, younger skewing radio stations began to feature more Christmas music on their stations, even going wall to wall on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. While there were more Top 40 core artists doing Christmas music by 1992, the stations still needed to play older artists to supplement the newer Christmas music. A few stations found this song and began mixing it into their Christmas rotations. The song got very positive feedback and as a result, this song began to gain airplay in many formats. Many people assume it was a recent recording and do not realize this song has been around for over 40 years.
