I realise that there are other clips containing THE NEW AMERICAN ORCHESTRA version of the LOVE THEME on YouTube, and I do not wish to step on anybody's toes or steal their fire. I started to put this together a while ago but others had already put this track up. This is in celebration of the announcement in 2011 that Ridley Scott, after much rumour, is to FINALLY expand on the story of the BLADE RUNNER movie. Perhaps because BLADE RUNNER (1982) has gained such a HUGE cult following over the years? This clip is for Roy and Pris, 'A pair of star-cross'd lovers' who wanted to live and love. After all, don't we all? I have added some visuals to try and make the clip a bit more interesting. The audio is a bit crackly, as we know the only sound track available up to 1994(?) was 'The New American Orchestra' version on vinyl, and my album has been well played. And who knows in the new movie we may yet get to see, 'Ships attacked on fire, off the shoulder of Orion....' and 'Watch C-beams, glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate...' We 'Blades' wait in anticipation... May your memories be good ones.
