The D-Drive Infinitely Variable Geared Transmission

This brain-bending invention could be the holy grail of transmission technology - it allows you to smoothly move through gear ratios from top gear all the way through neutral and into reverse without ever disengaging the engine. Plus, there's no friction drive component, so the power is always transmitted through gear teeth - there's never any slip or friction losses. In fact, the D-Drive's main difficulty is that it's so damn hard to understand that people don't really know what to do with it. So here's a close-up look, which will hopefully get a few people thinking. Read the complete article here: www.gizmag.com and a follow up to the response here: www.gizmag.com

MvC3: Captain America Infinite / キャプテン・アメリカ - 永久コンボ

biffotasty.blogspot.com Music calciusrepton.bandcamp.com Much like Akuma's Hurricane kick, the minimum level of hit stun inflicted by CapAm's shield slash never becomes severe enough to prevent it comboing into itself. In other words, you can keep throwing your shield until the other person dies. This was brought to my attention by a video made by 'KazuYoshitsuna'. Showing many reps of standing H-Shield slash. Unfortunately, the opponent would always fall out after a while. After a bit of messing around I found a way to make it loop infinitely. This is by far the most practical and simple infinite yet discovered imo. It uses no meter, doesn't require x-factor and can be started from anything that leads to a cr. H or launcher (among many other set-ups).

Bahamut's Divine Performance Vol.3: Infinite Trishula again!

* Remember to turn on Annotations!* *The "speech bubble" button* ============================== Revisiting the Infernity Loop with the addition of Daigusto Emeral from Duel Terminal 13. For text form: duelingdays.blogspot.com Daigusto Emeral yugioh.wikia.com Rank 4/WIND/Rock-Type - Effect, Xyz/1800 ATK/800 DEF 2 Level 4 Monsters. Once per turn, you can detach 1 of this card's Xyz Materials to activate one of the following effects: • Select 3 monsters in your Graveyard and shuffle them into your Deck. Draw 1 card. • Target 1 monster in your Graveyard, other than an Effect Monster, and Special Summon it. First effect is exactly the same as Pot of Avarice, so shuffling back the monsters is NOT a cost. Even though I linked to the wiki, the effect stated there is not accurate. The combo is supposed to end when you run out of Hundred Eyes Dragon. But using the first effect of Daigusto Emeral, you can shuffle back Hundred Eyes Dragon repeatedly and therefore doing the Trishula Infinitely!

Sonic Adventure 2 - Infinite Animal Use Tutorial (For Chao)

Ever have the misfortune of losing all of your Chao data? What about losing it multiple times? Along with the emblems? Well never fear, the Infinite Animal Use glitch is here! This little tutorial for Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is all about how to use animals infinitely for your Chao! If you can perform this glitch reliably, you can even get your Chao to 99 in the animal's respective stat with just one animal! Beats those hours of animal hunting eh? This glitch has existed in every single game involving the Chao... Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure DX, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Kinda sad how they never spotted the glitch. My tutorial carefully explains how to perform this glitch as well as shows it being performed. Tails and Rouge are the two best characters for performing this glitch due to them dropping animals in a smooth, reliable pattern. I hope the text will still be easily readable after going through the YouTube processor as this video was not originally designed for YouTube. If anyone's wondering why I use this glitch... I've had 3 memory card corruptions back when I used 3rd party memory cards, I lost the only Chao I cared about and just wanted my emblems back, so I used this glitch to speed things up a bit for the third and fourth time getting them all. Now then... I hope you find this a helpful tutorial for those who want to give their Chao animals with record speed, so... Enjoy!~

Ninja Gaiden 3: - Infinite Jump (New Technique Demonstration)

Make Ryu jump up infinitely in Ninja Gaiden 3 (and also - most likely - Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma. Since the character mechanics are almost identical. Don't know enough about the other NG games to comment tho...unlikely but you never know). My Twitter account: twitter.com Points of Interest: 1. I've only just come up with this technique, so I'll do up a full tutorial later on when I've fine tuned all the 'ins & outs', cos the timing is pretty difficult at this date. Plus, I only got the game today, & kinda wanna do a "normalish" run first. 2. It can also be used as a battle exploit (of sorts), simply by floating in mid air throwing Shuriken & Arrows endlessly at enemies. Tho on the harder levels this is probably not practical, except for maybe making retreats. 3. Once I've finished my "normalish' playthrough, that's when I'll look for skips & glitches etc ...I need to get to know the triggers, layouts etc better. 4. I included some oob's footage in the desert. 5. Also, for the 'Star Wars: FU1' fans...I'll return to that game in due time.

Infinitely Many Primes--Series on Infinity Part 4

Over two thousand years ago Euclid proved that there are infinitely many prime numbers. This ingenious proof is an early example of an indirect proof--contradicting the opposite statement of a theorem. It is also a very early mathematical confrontation with infinity, in a mathematically primitive time when even algebra was unknown.

Ho-oh shiny : combat infini / Infinite battle with Struggle ! (1)

To Infinity and Beyond - Horizon - BBC

To Infinity and Beyond - Horizon - BBC What is the biggest number? Is the universe infinite? How did the universe begin? Might every event repeat again and again and again and again... Is the Earth just one of uncountable copies, tumbling through an unending void? Your intuition is no use here. Faith alone can't save you. Mathematicians have discovered there are infinitely many infinities, each one infinitely bigger than the last. And if the universe goes on forever, the consequences are even more bizarre. In an infinite universe, there are infinitely many copies of the Earth and infinitely many copies of you. Older than time, bigger than the universe and stranger than fiction. This is the story of infinity.

The Hawking Paradox - BBC Horizon

Stephen Hawking is the most famous scientist on the planet. His popular science book 'A Brief History of Time' was a publishing sensation, staying at the top of the bestseller lists longer than any other book in recent history. But behind the public face lies an argument that has been raging for almost 30 years. Hawking shot to fame in the world of physics when he provided a mathematical proof for the Big Bang theory. This theory showed that the entire universe exploded from a singularity, an infinitely small point with infinite density and infinite gravity. Hawking was able to come to his proof using mathematical techniques that had been developed by Roger Penrose. These techniques were however developed to deal not with the beginning of the Universe but with black holes. Science had long predicted that if a sufficiently large star collapsed at the end of its life, all the matter left in the star would be crushed into an infinitely small point with infinite gravity and infinite density -- a singularity. Hawking realised that the Universe was, in effect, a black hole in reverse. Instead of matter being crushed into a singularity, the Universe began when a singularity expanded to form everything we see around us today, from stars to planets to people. Hawking realised that to come to a complete understanding of the Universe he would have to unravel the mysteries of the black hole.

BBC Horizon 2010: 1/6 To Infinity and Beyond

By our third year, most of us will have learned to count. Once we know how, it seems as if there would be nothing to stop us counting forever. But, while infinity might seem like an perfectly innocent idea, keep counting and you enter a paradoxical world where nothing is as it seems.
