Illnath - Zetite TRACK REVIEW
Requested track review for Illnath's song, Zetite. Featured on the album Cast Into Fields of Evil Pleasure released in 2003. Illnath is a symphonic/melodic black metal band that sounds A LOT like Cradle of Filth! 4 minuet track that is pretty straightforward, but extremely catchy. The use of heavy, on top synth really is the stand out factor. Riffs and vocals are really reminiscent of Cradle of Filth. The drums are very over the top and triggered to death. Excellent clean production over all. I really like the use of the first riff almost like the chorus of the song. Overall, fans of Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, or Abigail Williams will really enjoy this band. It was a fun catchy track. 8/10 Listen to the track here: www.youtube.com
