So near the beginning of Awakening, it turns out my Human Noble is married to Alistair! The unfortunate thing is that no one else seems to care that my PC is the King's wife. Queen-consort, whatever. She's Warden-Commander and Arlessa. I can't believe I paid $40 to find that out! :) I suppose the "indestructible goddess" comment was worth it tho. ;) Also there is a female Templar!

In replays after this, I could not get my character to go with Morrigan. Morrigan merely tells her off: "I cannot allow you to make that sacrifice." I guess only those who have romanced her can come with her.

* this is totally spoilers!!!* The ending of the witch hunt DLC if you chose the Dark Ritual, put Alistair on the throne and were friends with Morrigan at the end of Dragon Age: Origins. My Warden, a human noble who is also Alistair's wife in this case, is very interested in the child. Let's just say friendship turns very sour. Personally, I like the way your Warden looks her in the eye as Morrigan gets the murder knife.
