Hate Campaign Total playing time 48:41 DVD released in 2004 but 'Live In Stockholm 2003' - is nothing more or less than what it claims to be; a full live performance from the band's 2003 European Tour as filmed at the Stockholm date. Running at around the 1 hour mark - give or take - this disc is a fairly entertaining viewing. Both visual and audio quality are excellent, offering quite a polished sound and recording with multiple camera angles and numerous close-ups that give each band member their due as well as conveying the enthusiasm of the crowd to great effect. The performance is tight and high energy and shows a band who - despite their age and longevity - show no signs yet of losing the fire and hunger that initially fuelled them in their youth. DVD live performances such as this are always a pleasure to watch, particularly in the case of European acts such as DISMEMBER who rarely make the trek to North American shores. Whets the appetite and fuels the hope that over time, such performances as what is captured here eventually make a greater appearance in both the US and Canada!

Long-running Swedish death metallers DISMEMBER finally release a brand new DVD, entitled "Under Bloodred Skies". The two-disc set includes footage of two separate concerts (one in the Netherlands and the other at last year's Party.San Open Air festival, which was held in Bad Berka, Germany) plus tons of backstage material and bonus features. Commented the band: "We have been working hard as hell on this DVD for so long now and it feels great to finally have it released. We have been filming stuff on every tour (and almost every gig) since 2004, so we have had tons of material to choose from. To break that down to make it fit in a DVD format with interviews with all the band members has been a tough one indeed. But the final outcome will surely be worth all the effort and time we put down in this project. It will be a very honest look into the life of being in DISMEMBER, and it will include a lot of scenes that will make people laugh. "You'll get to see how we work in the studio and how it is being on tour with its ups and downs. A San Antonio woman who told authorities the devil made her mutilate and dismember her newborn was found not guilty by reason of insanity Thursday, in a deal that sends her to a state mental institution rather than to face a trial and possible prison sentence. Defense attorneys entered the plea on behalf of Otty Sanchez, 33, and it was accepted shortly thereafter as part of an agreement with prosecutors. Scott Wesley Buchholz-Sanchez was three weeks old when authorities who received a frantic 911 call from the boy's aunt arrived to find his mutilated body, and Sanchez wailing the devil made her do it. On the call, Sanchez can be heard screaming, "I didn't mean to do it! He told me to!" while her sister pleads for an ambulance. "This was probably one of the most horrendous cases that we have seen as far as the murder of a child," said County District Attorney Susan Reed. Sanchez was charged with capital murder and was found competent to stand trial. But Reed said after three examinations by separate doctors determined she was legally insane when she killed her son, the court had no choice but to accept the plea. "She will be committed until the court decides she is not a danger to herself or anyone else," Reed said. Reed said she was horrified by what Sanchez did, but also disturbed by the fact that she had sought treatment before killing her son and did not receive the care she needed.
