The amount of fantastic demo's we get in at the office is overwhelming sometimes. So it made sense to us to make a best of series out of all these wonderfull tracks. Luciano Pizzella from Italy surprised as with a funky, well arranged and moody tech house groover called 'Deeplet'. Not your average tech house DJ tool, but a deep and melodic venture right on the crossing borders of the two genres. Playfull rhythms are draped seemlessly in layers of melodies and textures. It has been on full rotation ever since it arrived on our virtual doorstep. Hungarian native Daniel Mehes goes even further in his melodic excursion, creating an hypnotic atmosphere by continuously layering sound upon sound. We discovered after several plays how he clever and without effort is able to shift the focus from one melody to another. Highly addictive tune, but with 'No Side Effects'. Dutch triphouser Steven Pieters won a competition with his 'Acid Sunset' track.
