Christ 0 in the Staatstheater am Gartnerplatz (germany) The Play of the Last Album of Vande Plas. "An almost forgotten shipyard. A man in the rusty storeroom of an old wreck. He pulls his dagger out of a bloody corpse. Seconds later a second man appears outside, lurking about on the deck. Both are alone in the dark...- "Somewhere Alone In The Dark," And so begins the rock opera Christ 0, a foreboding composition of love and betrayal, desire and murder and the ever-dominating question: How does the acting-out of revenge affect the one seeking it? Based on the novel "The Count of Monte Christo" by Alexandre Dumas, the story of Edmond Dantes will start as he his begins his campaign for vengeance. Christ 0 concerns itself less with the intricate web of revenge, as per the original story, but more so around the emotional depths and shallows of the individual characters. "Christ Zero = Christo = Christ O = No Christ" -- goes unflinchingly down the path of revenge for the 18 years, in which he was locked in the hull of the ship "Pharao" by his tormentors. Yet where does this come to an end? And who is the other? Who is Inspector X, the detective who is on the hunt for the killer? He is always close to Christ 0. But how close he is in reality, amounts to some of the most terrible things one is able to imagine. Bryn Frbes's first film as director is a delightful Kith Wterhose/Willis Hll adaptation of Mry Hyley Bll's novel. This classic parable of British cinema is a charming quasi-religious snapshot of childhood innocence. Set in a grim Lancashire farm community, three impressionable kids (Hyley Mills, Dine Hlgate, and Alan Brnes) find an injured fugitive from justice named Arthur Blakey (Aln Btes) sleeping in their barn. Upon awakening the bearded criminal, he takes one look at the children and exclaims: "Jesus Christ!" In their innocence, they assume he is Jesus due to their been sturdy religious upbringing and try to help him. In truth, he is an escaped killer on the run. News that Christ is living in the barn travels quickly to the other children in the village, they bring Blakey food and wine to earn his approval. The kids try to keep the secret from their parents, but when the authorities come around looking for him, the children, remembering Christ's persecution, do their best to protect their undeserving new friend. When Blakey is betrayed by accident, the police move in to arrest him, by this time his attitude has softened and he surrenders peaceably rather than endanger the lives of any of the children.

Taken from the new Wagon Christ album 'Toomorrow', out now on CD, LP and download: bit.ly The one and only Luke Vibert returning to the fray - the king of stoned exotica, ridiculous vocal samples, toothsome puns, swinging rhythm and the psychedelic groove, Vibert has never been one to take himself too seriously, but his music continues to delight. The 'Chunkothy' video is directed and animated by Celyn Brazier at Nexus with Beccy McCray providing invaluable production skills. Bali Engel helped colour and provided the beautiful animated sequences for the insect loop and fishes. Margot Tsakiri-Scanatovits and Manav Dhir also provided colouring skills and contributed to the animation of the insects. Steve Mc Inerney constructed the final edit with perfect timing and imagination. The animation was created in Photoshop, with most sequences on one layer. It was as simple as that really. No gimmicks, no tweeny motion tricks, no cgi. Celyn created small beat guides for reference, sometimes following the rhythm, for example on the bouncy ball loops, but mostly as many random patterns and as much weird sh*t that he could possibly make in six weeks. RW Richard Wurmbrand (March 24, 1909 February 17, 2001) was a Romanian evangelical Christian minister, author, and educator who spent a total of fourteen years in solitary confinement in Romania. He is also the founder of The Voice of the Martyrs. Many people called him the Voice of the Underground Church and others referred to him as the Iron Curtain St. Paul. This humble man who began the ministry of The Voice of the Martyrs was the Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, who passed away February 17, 2001. Richards life was a partnership with the equally amazing Sabina who he married on October 26, 1936. Out of all the videos I've seen on YouTube this is my favorite.
