He states that he is playing for a cause 'Pepsi India Initiative' where they save water. He explains that many people have a misconception that the soft drink companies waste lots of water, but Pepsi saved a huge amount of water in the previous times which can be utilized to provide clean drinking water to thousands of people. He uses his 1st lifeline, Phone-O-Friend on his 3rd question. He calls up his friend, film Director Ayan Mukherjee and tries to imitate Amitabh's style of talking, but Ayan identifies him and makes everyone laugh. When Amitabh Bachchan tells Ayan that Ranbir has won Rs.10000 so, he makes fun of him that he called him up for Rs.20000. On his next question, he takes help of the expert, Siddharth Kak who helps him out. Before proceeding further, he requests to pay a tribute to the legendary Shammi Kapoor. So, he finds a girl from the crowd and starts dancing on 'Ye Chand Sa Roshan Chehra'. Then, he discloses about his new Pepsi ad campaign 'Pepsi Ek Crore Ka Shortcut'. Another colourful episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Nav Utsav kicks off with a delightful performance of Ghoomar, a traditional Rajasthani folk dance. Amitabh Bachchan tells that this week is named Nav Utsav because the happiness spread by KBC to the common man is bigger than the festivals of our country. The first contestant to reach the Hot Seat is Prem Meena from Alwar, Rajashthan. Rahul Dev, the famous journalist sits once again as the Expert for the episode.
