Oliver Murs - Ollie is a 25-year-old office worker and a real Essex geezer. For some bizarre reason, his speech inflection totally put me in mind of the late Jade Goody. He turned up at the London auditions hoping to impress the judges. "What is your big dream?" Louis asked. "To be a pop star, and be famous, and sell records, and be an international superstar," replied Ollie. He sang Stevie Wonder's Superstitious and blew the audience and judges away. He easily sailed through to the Boot Camp stage of the competition.

Adolf Hitler faked his own suicide and fled to Argentina where he lived until a ripe old age, according to extraordinary new claims. Authors of the new book 'Grey Wolf: The Escape Of Adolf' believe evidence of the tyrant's suicide is flawed -- and that he actually escaped in 1945 to begin a new life with his wife, Eva Braun. But the claims have been ridiculed by leading historian Guy Walters who today branded them '2000 per cent rubbish.' More - the-salfordian.com

Another serious problem with the Xbox 360s, one that doesn't affect the console but could destroy the games you've paid a hefty wad of cash for. What's worse, Microsoft won't accept responsibility and in fact say it's your fault, not theirs. Complaints also extend outside the UK This problem isn't restricted to the UK either. The EU's Consumer Commissioner has written to Microsoft twice, asking why she's receiving so many complaints about the Xbox 360. Further still, in the United States, lawyers are organising a class action against the company. The law firm believes that Microsoft's stance, that Xbox 360 owners are cavalierly throwing their consoles around the room, doesn't make sense. It has spoken to a number of people who have insisted they didn't move the console at all.

A group of City financiers hoping to wrest control of Manchester United from its American owners have called on the club's global support network to get behind their campaign. The so-called Red Knights released a statement confirming Sky News' assertion that they met yesterday to discuss a possible takeover of the Premier League club. But the group said discussions were in the early stages and no contact had been made with current owners, the Glazer family. Members of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust (Must) were also privy to talks aimed at bringing an end to the Glazers' debt-heavy ownership of the club. The US family has already issued its own statement saying the club is not for sale.

An eerie image of a figure in period costume has spooked experts investigating apparent photographic evidence of ghosts. The picture, taken in May 2008, appears to show a man or woman in a ruff peering out of a barred window at Tantallon Castle. No mannequins or costumed guides are employed at the castle, and three photographic experts have confirmed that no digital trickery was used on the photo. Even confirmed ghost sceptic Professor Richard Wiseman, who led the study, admitted being puzzled. "It is certainly very curious," he said. "We ran it by three photographic experts and they said it hadn't been Photoshopped at all. "The figure appears to be in period costume, but we know 100% that Tantallon Castle is not the sort of place that has dummies or costumed guides - they just don't go in for that sort of thing."
