From 1989 "Turn Back Trilobite" Thies band had it´s roots in Punk (most of the members played at The Varukers).They did 2 demos under the name "Warwound" but changed this name to Sacrilege when "Tam" Linda Simpson joined the band. Their first release,1985 "Beneath The Realms Of Madness" was a mixture of Thrash Metal and Punk/Crust. The secong one "Within The Prophecy" is pure Thrash, and this LP is some kind of epic Doom Metal with Thrash parts. "Turn Back Trilobite" was the last sign of life, Bassist Frank Healy is now in Benediction (and was in Napalm Death and Cerebral Fix), drummer Andy Baker was in Cerebral Fix, too.

"Devil Doll" is the name of an Italian - Slovenian band created in 1987 by a mysterious figure known only as Mr. Doctor: The mysterious mastermind of "Devil Doll". During the past two decades he has been releasing his work exclusively to a small scale of loyal fans, and those in the know. All of his albums comprise a varied mixture of Classical, Theatrical, Gothic, Avantgarde, Symphonic Rock Music, Progressive Rock, et cetera. Not only is Mr. Doctor a musical genius, he has also made 3 films & composed the scores for each film, most of which are still unreleased to this day. Devil Doll is an Italian-Slovenian experimental rock band formed in 1987 by the mysterious "Mr. Doctor". The band has gained a cult following, taking influences from gothic rock, classical and slavonic folk music, and fronted by the sprechgesang of Mr. Doctor himself. Devil Doll albums were all released on small labels in limited quantities. The band is notable for very lengthy epics, none under 20 minutes and one that nearly enters the 80 minute mark.
