Rain Tree Crow - Every colour you are

I touched his hand It burned like coal I put paid to the devil And I saw the mountain fall Fall on Feel like crying The joke's gone too far You can be any thing you want Every colour you are Every colour you are A family man His patience tried Put a torch to his home And warmed his hands by the fire No greed, no desire My roads uncrossed White lined and tarred By believing in you Every colour you are Every colour you are

rain tree crow - pocket full of change

rain tree crow - rain tree crow 1991-------- She brings me water "Sweeter than wine" Lost in a moment Summertime Counting the hours Beating out time Shallow as any heart I could hope to find Move with the water Drift with the tide With no regrets to keep the ghosts alive But when she smiles, she smiles for me She smiles for me Life runs out like a pocket full of change Time runs out like a pocket full of change Here comes the morning Blind and tight Pulled by the undertow This world of mine This world is mine But when she cries, she cries for me She cries for me Life runs out like a pocket full of change Time runs out like a pocket full of change Like a pocket full of change Pocket full of change Pocket full of change Got a pocket full of change

Italian TV RaiDUE early 90's : David Sylvian special in Rome Italy

I guess this one is a 1991 (Rain Tree Crow) considering David's haircut, 1992 (The First Day) or 1993 (Road To Graceland tour) broadcast. Not sure. Any help is appreciated. Italian narrated special with exclusive footage. Like it, can't understand everything though...

Prog Review 43: A Victim of Stars - David Sylvian

Another decade, another David Sylvian collection to look at. Will this deliver everything or nothing? There's only one way to find out and that's to watch the video. Title Music: "Stinkhorn" by Darren Lock Background Music: "The Mist Suite" All music has been written and recorded by Darren Lock and is used by permission because I am that Darren Lock who wrote and recorded this music. If I could figure out how to give myself permission and prove conclusively to YouTube that I am the artiste in question I would do it. What do they want....blood? Part of an interview with Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri from late 80's. Sorry about the low quality but it was rescued from a dusty old videotape! Might anyone have a better copy they could post? I've also posted a complete version of the interview with improved audio. Check it out.

Mick Karn - Dali's Car (instrumental version)

The track 'Dali's Car' appeared on Dali's Car 'The Waking Hour' released in 1984. Pete Murphy handled vocals whilst Mick Karn composed the music. Paul Vincent Lawford was the drummer/percussionist. This version is a 'stereo difference' version meaning the track was processed with Audacity software so that the vocal has all but been silenced. Mick's bass playing can be heard almost in isolation. This video is intended to be a tribute to Mick Karn and the amazing music he gave us over the years. The images are from from various magazine's from the 80's.

First Look - David Sylvian: A Victim of Stars First Look

There's a new compilation out featuring the work of David Sylvian. It's been over a decade since the last one (Everything & Nothing) and so here I am taking a sneaky peak at the new double CD set. Japan - Quick 5 min documentary

A short clip of the band's history, some interesting comments from their old manager: "They were completely out of context with everything that was going on in youth culture..." (when recalling the early years) Journalist: "Japan were crap for 3 albums" (!harsh!) Some discussion of making "real" sounds from synths on tin drum and Mick's unique bass style. They go on to talk about why the band broke up and the whole Rain Tree Crow project. Includes interviews with the band (no Sylvian) and updates on what the guys are doing now... or rather at the time when this clip was filmed. I wish the clip was longer/better quality, if anyone has the full clip please upload! NOTE: I did not record this myself, it was found on a Japan fansite. If the original creator wants their tag in here or something let me know!
The Crow ~ It Can't Rain All The Time

This is my own personal Tribute to the crow and to Brandon Lee, May he rest in peace. This is my first video so sorry if it's really bad. The song is It Can't Rain All The Time by the great Jane Siberry who is a fantastic singer (more) (Lyrics) We walked the narrow path Beneath the smoking skies Sometimes barely tell the difference Between darkness and light Do we have faith in what we believe? The truest test is when we cannot see I hear pounding feet in the streets below And the women crying and the children know That there's something wrong It's hard to belive that love will prevail It won't rain all the time The sky won't fall forever And though the night seems long your tears won't fall forever When I'm lonely, I lie awake at night And I wish you were here, I miss you. Can you tell me is there something more to believe in? Or is this all there is? And the pounding feet in the streets below And a window breaks and a woman falls, there's, There's something wrong It's hard to belive that love will prevail. It won't rain all the time The sky won't fall forever And though the night seems long your tears won't fall forever Last night I had a dream You came into my room You took me into your arms Whispering and kissing me And telling me to still believe (Within the emptiness of The burning cities against which We set our darkest of selves) Until finally I felt safe and warm I fell asleep in your arms And when I awoke I cried again For you were gone Can you hear me? It won't ...
