My brothers and I were asked to make a music video for Haydain Neale, one of the greatest soul singers ever. In the brief time we collaborated, Haydain touched our souls indelibly with his vast and god given talent, true sweetness, sublime strength and unconditional love for his partner Michaela and daughter Yasmin (the inspirations for the song). Each time I aimed my camera at him and the music rolled, I'd say "sing this to Michaela and Yasmin" and each time he'd look back at me with that beautiful smile and say "I always do". He is gone from us now and yet here with us forever through his own special magic and the music and memories he left behind. We are all so very lucky to have known him.

Released on behalf of the Neale family: At 39 years of age Juno Award-winning artist Haydain Neale of jacksoul passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, after a very private seven month battle with lung cancer. On a beautiful, sunny morning with his wife Michaela, daughter Yasmin, brother-in-law Shawn Hudson and friends Davide DiRenzo and Jennifer Hyland by his side, Haydain passed away peacefully. Throughout his rehabilitation after a car accident in August 2007 and during his illness, Haydain always maintained a positive spirit. In a statement from his wife Michaela; Through all these challenges, Haydains sense of humour and love of music were ever-present. He constantly brightened the room with his singing and his smile. His joyful presence and beautiful voice will be missed by us all. An interment with a private family gathering will take place later this week. Jacksoul: a Canadian Band formed in Toronto. The band won a Juno Award in 2001 and in 2007 for best R&B soul recording of the year. They have also won the Canadian Urban Music Song Award of the year in 2004. Every one of the bands albums have been nominated for Junos. The song 'Still believe in love' from the album Resurrected was the # 1 most spun Canadian track in 2004. The video: Other than some flowers, there are some graphics (film productions and opera) of love stories like Gone with the Wind, Pocahontas, Love Story, Romeo and Juliet, and Madam Butterfly. I made this video when I couldnt find one on here with pics. But this is one of my earlier videos and I had been thinking about making a new one... and made some changes to it.. but Im not feeling like it now.. In light of recent circumstances, this light and happy song nearly contradicts the turn out of the lead singers life. In August 2007 lead singer Haydain Neale was hit by a car while riding his scooter and went into a coma. His condition was critical but stable. In December 2008 his family released information to the public that he had made some promising recovery and his health was continuing to improve (re-learning to walk and talk). Neales fans awaited his return to good health and to his music career. Sadly Haydain Neal passed away recently with lung cancer on Sunday November 22nd 2009.
